Overview
The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. You can choose between rooms with an en-suite bathroom and a cable TV, rooms with shared facilities and a dormitory. From April to October accessible: shared kitchenette and common area, coin-operated washing machine and dryer as well as vending machines for drinks and snacks.

“Fabulous place to stay at a very reasonable cost, well set up for back packers.”
A beautiful property in lovely grounds with a welcome swimming pool. Handy for the station and easy to access the centre of town via the funicular. Excellent facilities for storing your own food so you can make your meals and not rely always on eating in restaurants.

“Unexpectedly great”
We booked with the Hotel Montarina, but with the twin room, you stay in the Continental Park Hotel which is next to it. The room was small, so was the toilet, but it was clean and cozy and good for one night.
