“Room very tired and in need of a refurbishment, very hot. Comfortable bed, good breakfast.”
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a range of cold buffet options and some hot food. Bed was comfortable. Free bottle of water.

“Best service, super friendly, very clean and comfy, we had a wonderful stay.”
We arrived late at night, they were waiting for us, big smile on their face. Luckenwalde is a small town and there were no open shops around. There were 2 big bottles of sparkling water in the room waiting for us, free of charge. This was a true life saver. We went there for a wedding, that was happening 10 km away from the hotel early in the morning, and when the transport we had arranged canceled on us, the lovely person at the reception helped us out and got us a taxi (which is really hard to get there). When we got back from the wedding at 02:00 am, and they had left us 2 more bottles of water, we couldn't be more thankful!

“Good place to stay during business trip”
We stay in this hotel every year during business trip. Breakfast is very good and a lot of choice to eat. Rooms are clean and beds are fine.

“What I expected from their website.”
It's as advertised, basic wholesomeness. It's a decent, clean, safe space in which you can spend the night. It'll never be the Ritz, but it's not a dump either. What I liked - all instructions (Wi-Fi connection for example) in English and German, the dinner and breakfast selection, the cleanliness and functionality of the room.

We were received warmly by a very friendly receptionist, who explained all procedures during corona times to us, also how we get into the hotel at night after 10, as we planned to visit the spas nearby. We had a bottle of champagne with us and the staff was kind enough to allow us some ice and a bottle cooler to take up to the room. We can only recommend Hotel Märkischer Hof.
