Everything was lovely, our hosts were absolutely wonderful, helpful with anything we wanted or needed, and did a great job overall! Hiša Pečovnik was perfect for our trips and hikes, but also for our journey to Ljubljana, which is around an hour away by car. Perfect!!!

“A one in a million stay!”

We left a piece of our heart at Hiša Pečovnik. The location is outstanding: On a mountain, surrounded by woods and with an incredible view. The house is really cozy, all wooden inside, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and very well looked after. The breakfast (included) and dinner (not included, but 100% recommended) are out of this world. They have a lot of local or auto-produced products and the cook is incredibly gifted. There also is a big fitness area, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna, which we had the chance to try and truly enjoyed. Nearby there are many beautiful things to visit, such as the Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina and much more (Slovenian Alps are breathtaking). But what truly makes this place one in a million is the Pečovnik family. They are the kindest hosts imaginable: always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We’ve just left, and we’re already dreaming of coming back as soon as possible!

It was a perfect mini-vacation! Thanks to the hosts, I felt the taste of childhood again... We also thank the very friendly dog ​​Nely for making our stay even more beautiful. Everything was wonderful and not to mention the scenery there, superb, peaceful...everything you need if you want a quiet place and to connect with nature. It was totally worth it.

The Pečovnik family are the nicest people you will encounter anywhere. They did their utmost best to make the stay very pleasant! Although the location is a few km from the nearest town, I didn't come by car (walked up the hill) and had some very nice walks in the area for the 3 nights that I stayed there. I recommend going up the Raduha and neighboring mountains.

The nicest hosts, very polite and kind. Everything was exceptional, from the breakfast (everything home-made) and they also offer excellent dinner (additional cost but so worth it). The piece, the nature, the location and the accomodation in general, everything was great. They are also dog-friendly so we could bring out dog with us.

We liked the hospitality, kindness and honesty from Špela and her father A lot! You really feel welcome. They help where needed. Due to the flood from A year ago, the road to Hiša Pečovnik is under construction but once you get there the view and quiet is really breathtaking! Also the stars at night are really visible without any lightpollution. Beautiful. We really recommend staying there!

Great place to stay, about 10-15 minutes drive from luce is secluded in a beautiful slope overlooking the valley. My stay was perfect, very nice, big and clean room e so much peace and tranquility. The hosting family is super lovely and caring. The breakfast fresh and fantastic! I'd love to go back

We loved the accomodation and location it is situated. A lot of animals and fantastic view. Breakfast was delicious and owners were very kind. Every time we arrived we had a sweet greeting of the dog Nely. Alsof really enjoyed the balcony. And very dog friendly!

“An idyllic mountain farmstay that offers an escape from every day life”

The farmstay is at an idyllic mountain location surronded by mountains and forests. It’s very calm and quiet and the only sounds you can hear are the birds singing. I was welcomed by the host who kindly offered a welcome drink and made sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. I was the only guest at the time and they made breakfast just for me at a time that suited me. The food was abundant and excellent made of their own products (cured meat - savinjski želodec that was out of this world, elderberry juice, homemade berry jam) and others that were locally sourced (dairy products from the neughbours)… It was really something to look forward to. I would definitely go back and I recommend this to everyone looking for a break from every day life. It’s about 35 minutes away from the beautiful Logar valley, where you can explore, go hiking…

Nice place and views, good breakfast, delicious coffee, friendly and helpful owners, the property is very calm and far away (and up) from the main valley but it is not a big problem if you have a car - there is an asphalt road, there may be some disturbances now after huge rainfall in August 2023 but hopefully the road will soon be fully repaired.
