“A lovely place in Luang Prabang!”

The Sky Dragon Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay in Luang Prabang! We stayed there for two nights but would have stayed longer if we have had more time to spend in Luang Prabang. It is really nice, quiet and comfortable and our room had an amazing balcony as well. The owner is lovely and really kind and it was also possible for us to store our bags for 3 days during our motorcycle tour. We had a really great time!

“Comfortable and a great central location”

This was our second stay at Sky Dragon during our trip to Laos. Again, we were very happy with the guest house and the welcoming owners. Excellent location in the heart of Luang Prabang. Laundry service is available at 20,000 kip per kg. A shared minivan from the train station to the guest house is 40,000 kip per person, and the owners can arrange the same for the return to the train station. Overall, the perfect base for a few days in Luang Prabang. PS The little shop round the corner, Pa Po Boutique, has some lovely items at very fair prices. It's not on Google maps. Look out for it. And Khaiphaen restaurant, a 1 min walk away, is unmissable. Go, you won't be disappointed.

“Excellent guest house, lovely owners, great location”

Excellent guest house in a perfect location in the heart of Luang Prabang. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. There is a drinking water dispenser for guests to use. The room with the big wooden balcony at the front of the house is great. We highly recommend this place.

Annie the owners wife was incredibly helpful and actually led me to a shop and also the massage place I wanted go to. it is conveniently located for river cruises No too far from the night markets and excellent local restaurants

“Old historic house, with character but minimum facilities”

The location is very good, right in the historic district, close to the temples, morning alms-giving rituals, and restaurants. Old house with character, on a quiet side street, walking distance to the river shore and the main shopping street

Location, everything else wasn’t good at all. It is extremely well located on a parallel street to the night market but that’s it.

“Adequate but Chinese staff does not speak English”

Simple, but clean and comfortable rooms at a great location. I got a discount in booking and at a price point of 25$ for a (small) double room I cannot complain.

“Amazing host”

The host! She's the kindest/sweetest host there is. She helped me out with so many things (booked train tickets, laundry, van, luggage storage, suggestions) and even when there was some issue with the water in the bathroom she put me to another room straight away. Location is great too. Not sure you can find a more value for money property in the whole Luang Prabang

The house is setup as old wooden structure. Booked a double rooms and the only regret is that the beds took up all the space in the room The rooms and facilities were good. Owner helped to arrange for motorbike and shuttle to the train station Location is prime, an alley behind the night market and two lanes from the key temples

“Comfortable”

This property is very close to all the temples and the cafes and restaurants. Very central location, everything is within 5-10 minutes walking distance including the night markets! Amazing location!
