Hotel Bastide & SPA - Villa de Lourmarin is nestled in a garden 200 meters from the centre of Lourmarin. Reservations person told me on check in that they were sold out and since I was one person they were giving me a not so nice room - why did they accept the booking then!? My first time in Provence and it was 2 nights. I wanted a nicer experience

The first 2 nights we had a very small room. We understand we had a cheaper rate then, but we found the room dirty and the decor very dated. We found this with the whole property. It has a lot of potential, excellent location, very good pool area,staff were mainly very friendly.

The hotel has a very nice quiet ambience and is tastefully furnished in the rooms and public areas. The pool area is a little secluded and has a quiet ambience. There is a nice selection of food for lunch and dinner served in the pool patio area.

The hotel is based in the centre of the village, and it is a few minutes' walk from the shops and restaurants. It was easily accessible by car to explore the area and offer a special tranquil ambience.

The hotel has a quiet and pleasant ambience and the decor is very fitting for the style of the property. The pool and bar area is quiet and private and is relaxing place with only low level background music and no mobile phone conversations or personal music.
