Overview
The Residence du Soleil is located in a calm street close to the centre of Lourdes, just a 10-minute walk from the Lourdes Sanctuaries. It offers free Wi-Fi access. Each air-conditioned and soundproofed studio is equipped with satellite channels on a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. A buffet breakfast is served daily. Daily cleaning and linen change can be requested at an extra cost. Restaurants, bar and shops are at close access to Résidence du Soleil. It is only a 10-minute walk to the Grotto and the Basilicas. Free parking is provided. It is a 6-minute drive from the N21.

“not worth the money”
no air condition or fan available even at 32 degree inside. no receptionist at reception. have to contact them by phone but even then the staff is not helpful. not hygiene enough for kids to stay at all. not worth for the money i paid.

“Hotel with good potential and very good staff”
The staff was nice, very helpful and responsive. The room issue we had on arrival was rapidly solved. Some electric bulbs which were broken in our room were repaired on the same day. The staff let us borrow a fan to compensate for the missing air conditioning. The internet was very good. The rooms were in a fairly good state and clean. It was possible to do your laundry at the hotel for €7. You could also borrow kitchen equipment at reception. The hotel is situated in a quiet area but still at walking distance from the Sanctuary, shops restaurants, bus stop...

We have stayed there many times and always enjoyed our stays. The hotel is clean, good location and the staff quite nice. Our only problem is that the air conditioning was not working!! With this summers heatwave we were concerned. They did offer to live us to another hotel or give us a couple of fans. We choose the latter and it worked out okay. They said they told Booking.com but that they did not update the website. So just a word of warning, if you have a health problem, make sure you contact them to make sure you have AC.

Very friendy staff, we had to stay a day longer than planned they had no issues with it and extended the stay easily, very nice people would definitely recommend staying here.

“it was very unwelcoming and unpleasant. The rooms were not clean and I will never book again”
My family and I had during our stay at your hotel in ]Lourdes, France. When we made the reservation at the reception, we were given a specific rate, but upon check-in, we were charged different fees that were not in line with what we were promised. This left us feeling misled and frustrated as we had budgeted for the initial amount quoted. Furthermore, the check-in process was quite inconvenient for us. We were informed that the room would be available by 11am, but to our surprise, we were only allowed to access it at 3 pm. This delay caused unnecessary disruption to our plans, and we were left waiting for several hours with no proper explanation provided. One of the main reasons we chose your hotel was the promise of self-catering facilities. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the room lacked even basic amenities like tea cups. Such oversight from your end made it difficult for us to enjoy our stay, as we were unable to prepare a simple cup of tea. The room itself was not up to the standard of cleanliness that we expect from a hotel. There was a persistent unpleasant odor in the room, which made our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. Additionally, the behavior of the staff left much to be desired. They were not very friendly, and their lack of interest in assisting us was evident from the moment we checked in. They failed to provide any information about the nearby church and shopping facilities, which is crucial for tourists visiting Lourdes. Moreover, the distance between your hotel and the church was one of the deciding factors for us, as we were hoping for convenient access to the religious sites. However, your website claimed a distance 0.4meter, but in reality

Location it is 15mins quick walk and 20-25mins walk easy pace to the Lourdes Grotta. Staff very helpful. Room was good size. Kitchen facilities good.
