The receptionist allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated as we hadn't slept the night before. Plus, they kept our luggage behind reception for us after we checked out. Plus, the beds were also really comfortable. Everyone slept like babies

“Functional, no-frills hotel but in a fantastic location”
The hotel is well kept and quite elegant. The rooms are dated but comfortable and clean and they're en-suite too. The price of the rooms is very good and the location is fantastic. Hotel guests get the code to a lift/elevator directly across the road which takes people down to the street level below. A very short walk past the shops and you're in the Sanctuary at Lourdes - the location really can't be beaten for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful but definitely just there to do their job. The rooms are comfortable but don't expect any frills, I think the hotel mainly caters to actual pilgrims to Lourdes. If I remember rightly, check out is very strict and quite early. I had been planning to go to the Sanctuary for the 09:00 service but I wouldn't have made it back in time to get my luggage down and check out. Worth bearing in mind.

The location is perfect and the room is clean although the whole hotel is old, and the breakfast as compared to the other hotels I've been is the worse. There was no savon, and the hair dryer was not working.

“The stay was sufficient for our needs and other shops and bars/restaurant nearby to meet our needs.”
We only had breakfast once and the atmosphere was too cold. No staff around. Plates and cold bread, butter ready. Not appetising at all. No staff to assist. Everything is do it yourself.
