The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the river and the ocean. It’s quiet and honestly breathtaking. I think what beats everything though is the hospitality, kindness and helpfulness of the management and staff team. Everyone goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you have the best stay. They even helped me with my rental car issues (which had nothing to do with them - I had a little accident before arriving). It’s rare to experience such care and kindness and I’m beyond grateful. Food was amazing as well

It was an amazing experience—we hiked for two hours without encountering another person, but we saw plenty of monkeys and other animals along the way. It was unforgettable!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Playa Villa Tayrona for making our stay so special. A special mention goes to Frank and Manuel at reception, who were always welcoming and helpful, as well as Tatiana, Yilmer, Sindy, Lisney, Dilia, Maria Elena, Blanca and Sandra, whose kindness and hard work made everything run so smoothly. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel cared for and at home, and their warmth and hospitality set the tone for a truly memorable visit. The food was absolutely incredible, with a wonderful variety to suit all tastes. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find some delicious and creative options, but there was also plenty of fresh fish and meat on offer for others. Everything was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and made with the freshest ingredients, which really highlighted the thought and passion that goes into the dining experience here. Beyond the meals, the setting itself is just perfect. The pool and the views are breathtaking, the massage we enjoyed was both soothing and professional, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. It is such a relaxing place, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Playa Villa Tayrona is a gem, and we cannot wait to return.

“Relaxing stay for a couple of nights away from it all”

Location was excellent- beautiful view, peaceful and relaxing vibe, lovely pool, very clean, communal area beautiful and they provide yoga mats. Felt very close to nature. Well maintained house and grounds.

“We fell in love with”

One of our favourite hotels during our Colombia trip. Fantastic style, beautiful pool, gigantic rooms, lovely common spaces and great service. We also loved the food and drinks. Beautiful location overlooking the river and close to the beach. There are just a few rooms like 4 or something so it feels like you are there almost alone.

Location, calm and the size of the room, even if you don’t have real intimacy with the bathroom not being closed. Food is good, but requires more variety on the breakfast
