Overview
Set in spectacular tropical gardens, the Maya-themed Royal Decameron Salinitas is located in Los Cobanos. It has 5 pools, including a saltwater pool, and direct beach access. All of the richly decorated rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, coffee machine and safe. They also have a balcony with views of the gardens or the swimming pool. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, including kayaking and paddleboats, and introductory scuba diving. There are 2 tennis courts, and beach volleyball. In the evening there are children’s and adults’ shows, and a disco.Other activities include a movie theater, game room, Paintball and bow range. The complex has a wide range of restaurants giving guests great choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also 4 bars offering unlimited international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

“Value for money.”
The food and drinks were enough, although it would have been nice to know that you should bring a big cup or thermos to get enough drink and not have to walk so far to get one.

The restaurant lacked air conditioning, making it very humid. However, the air conditioning in the room worked well. The swimming pool was absolutely beautiful—an ideal place for a family trip.

I booked his property an unfortunately I wasn’t able to travel due to hospitalization which I contacted them ahead of time to cancel and get a refund. They ask for a medical letter to verify that his was accurate to proceed with refund which I provided after that I haven’t hear back with a response and I’ve try to contact them multiple times.

“No recommendation”
The food was alright. Don't make the mistake and think the a-la-carte-restaurants would be better because they are booked out quickly. We found the buffet at the central restaurant the best. The "lower" staff (waiters, cleaning, maintenance) was very friendly.

The Whatsapp concierge service was fantastic! It made booking restaurants so easy. The food in the Italian restaurant was great.
