“Amazing resort on this magical island”

We were originally staying in a bungalow next door but after eating at the resort restaurant we moved in to this place - mainly to use the pool and loungers. The food is very good - the tempura shrimp and the fish curry were both brilliant. The staff are amazing and the room was exceptional by Philippines standards - very spacious, great aircon and a huge outdoor bathroom. Snorkelling the reef was easy and you may see turtles if you're lucky

“Amazing coral and reef diving”

Amazing coral and reef diving. but beach is not really for swimming and quite dirty. But when you only want to dive it is great.

Did not get room facing the sea as booked for first two nights. Spa staff untrained. Bed uncomfortable. Cancelled my second spa appointment. Food average, not much choices. Andrew Yeo

So many great points: 1. The staff were delightful, so friendly and smiley, thank you. 2. The food was better than we expected, and there are many options to choose from. 3. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. 4. The snorkelling out front of the resort is excellent (but note that you need to swim all the way out to the wall to see the magical spots). In addition: Alani, the dive instructor, was excellent with providing our young daughter with her first diving experience. Thank you :)

“Relaxing 2 Days in Cabilao”

We had a lovely 2‑day stay at Cabilao Resort. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. They assisted us with organizing excursions and transfers, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Stunningly beautiful location. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good. The snorkelling on the edge of the reef, 30m from shore, was great.

Fantastic stay. Very quiet, peaceful, out of touristy areas, definitely "lost" as we wanted it to be. The resort is well equiped, the room (sea view) was great, immense, great bathroom, with air con. The staff was very nice, always helpful, and rehearsing their upcoming Christmas danses. That was fun. We did massages every day because they were so good. Diving equipment is top notch. Diving sites right in front or a few minutes away from the resort. The diving is definitely worth the stay, huge 60-70m walls covered in incredibly dense corals. Can't recommend a better stay. Also great value for money.

“Great diving but definitely not a ‘sanctuary’ or place to relax”

Well equipped dive shop and use of speedboats for travelling to dive sites (rather than Filipino bangka boats). Ladies working in the restaurant area were lovely. Resort presentation is very neat.

If you are an influencer, please do not make any content about this paradise. Do not make mass tourism go and ruin Cabilao Island just for your sake. This hotel boutique is one of the best I have ever been. Diving in Cabilao is amazing. Diving equipment is very well maintained or new. Diving Instructor Mathias was professional and knowledgeable. Food is incredible, and every dish we ordered was made with love and amazing ingredients, and you could definitely taste it. Facilities are very nice. Staff is super friendly and helpful with any requests. If you are searching for a romantic escape with your partner, this is the place for you. It is an exclusive place. Please respect nature!

A really peaceful, relaxing place - accommodation, restaurant and pool are all good. Diving is the main reason we went and it is great - the dive sites themselves are beautiful, equipment good quality and the dive crew - instructor, dive masters and boatman are all excellent.

The room was nice and the location was peaceful and nice. It is placed a bit distinct and requires a bit of travel to reach. However, we were prepared for this, why the accommodation reached our expectations.

Quiet and beautiful nature, amazing for snorkelling even if you aren't a diver. Food is excellent. Enough to entertain yourself with games and pool table. Nearby resorts gives you alternatives for drinks and food, however the best food is in the hotel
