Overview
Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Guests can choose between private and shared bathroom facilities. Guests have access to a shared kitchen. The on-site restaurant Vinterhagen Restaurant serves Arctic-inspired dishes. Drinks can be enjoyed at Peisen Bar. Breakfast is served each morning at the Shang Po-lar dining room. Relaxation options include a common dining area and TV room. WiFi access is available throughout the property. We also have The Game Room, complete with a pool table, foosball, darts and bar. A laid-back space to enjoy music and games in a great atmosphere. The game room is also available to hire for private functions. Mary-Ann's Polarrigg's staff can book various trips for guests with the possibility to see the wildlife of Svalbard.

“A good stay in Svalbard”
The place was small, quant and compact. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was superb. There was complimentary tea coffee throughout TGE day and night which was perfect for a remote place like Svalbard

The location perfect! Easy walk into the township. 24hr reception. The Polarrig is quirky, historical and the living areas are SO comfy! Tea & coffee always available. Staff wonderful! Shared bathrooms never a problem as there are so many. Loved every minute of our stay♥️❤️♥️

“A marvellous place..”
Beautiful hotel, a different one, feel like home. I only spent one night, but the atmsphere was wonderful. Really like the living room, the breakfast and we saw a white fox.

“If you want vibes, lights and coziness, this is your place”
I loved that its created to be magical for everyone that arrives. The twinkly lights, the vibe indoors, the music, the big smiles from the staff, the reception can book tours for you(very convenient).

This room features a double bed with a single bunk above it, along with a separate single bed on the side. Our family rooms are designed with families in mind and comfortably accommodate up to four guests — ideal for parents traveling with children. For adult groups, we recommend a maximum of three guests for optimal comfort. This room is located in a separate building, just a few steps outside from the Restaurant, Living Room, and Reception area.

This room features a 150 cm wide double bed. If you wish for the beds to be separated, please request it in advance. Please note that when separated, each bed is 75 cm wide. This room is located in a separate building, just a few steps outside from the Restaurant, Living Room, and Reception area.
Twin Room with Shared Bathroom
Basic room with shared bathroom facilities. Please note that the single beds are 75cm wide. The daily housekeeping is not included for Twin and Single rooms, but can be requested for a fee. This room has a separate entrance from our Restaurant, where we serve breakfast, but it is still conveniently located near our cozy Living Room and Reception.
