Beautiful location, right in the middle of the rice terraces and at the foot of three easy to follow trails up to the viewpoints. All staff are lovely, many generations run the place. Ximian has amazing English and was super helpful booking my buses to and from yangshuo and Guilin and arranging picks ups from the bus stop. Delicious dinner, I am vegan and they were very accommodating, delicious coffee. The room was simple but tastefully decorated with a big bathtub overlooking the view. Amazing value for money.

The view of the rice terrace is amazing. The family room has 2 space. Bed mattress was comfy. We could eat on the terrace. And the staff was super helpful

I was very surprised to find such a nice place here in the village with English-speaking host, it's a very rare phenomenon in China. And overall all the stuff are very helpful. They also have some food, suitable for westerners and even tasty coffee. The view from my balcony was fascinating!

“'A nice trip”

This was a very satisfying trip. The hotel I stayed at had the best service I've ever experienced. It was truly super considerate. Right after I booked the hotel, the manager got in touch with me proactively and helped me choose and reserve a bus. Moreover, the view from the rooms and the restaurant was excellent. The scenery was exactly as shown in the pictures. No matter what the weather was like, it was all very beautiful, even more beautiful than what I captured in my photos.

We were very nicely welcomed in Dazhai by Jack who picked us at the entrance of the village. We had the chance to be upgraded to a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the ricefields. It was rainy and very foggy so we had to shorten our stay but we still had a wonderful time here thanks to Jack's kindness and help (we would still be lost in the village without him!)
