“Walk Into and Experience the Luxury of Yesteryear.”

Set in a 300 year old Patrimonial home, Casa Bolivar Hotel and Museum is truly a wonderful experience. Walking into the property is like walking back in time when homes of this nature were reserved for the wealthy. What would have originally been a central courtyard has a raised glass cover which allows continuity of air flow and interior light, the resulting space being the restaurant in the facility. The entire property is decorated in the earlier periods of it's existence with furniture also from that period. The museum room on the second floor demonstrates the opulence and magnificence of its earlier years. The guest rooms are all on the second floor (accessibility for those with mobility issues and/or mobility equipment is not available). Each has it's own feel and is equipped with its own bathroom/shower facilities. Some rooms face out to the street with views of the Plaza San Francisco and others face into the courtyard/restaurant. Rooms are equipped with everything you could need and, if not, the staff are always prepared to be of assistance. Daily housekeeping services is available providing fresh bath linens, bed changing and cleaning. The staff are delightful and go the extra mile to be of service. They will provide information about the city, things to see and do and will book arrangements from reservations, to tours to travel arrangements. Each and every one of them exceptional, although we do have to mention Julia, Santiago, Christina and Jairo. They were absolutely the best. We highly recommend this property and will stay there ourselves in the future.

Beautiful 300+ year old historic building in excellent condition :) and good location. High ceiling rooms with authentic beauty and character. Wonderful food in the courtyard restaurant. Truly exceptional ! :) Resident family of little birds living in the hibiscus TREE in the high arching courtyard space. Best of all ..... Julia ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Receptionist and Manager Julia was an incredible help to me, with a lovely attitude of pleasure in giving service. In my case, I was struggling to find an a safe bus route crossing into Peru that did NOT include overnight hours. More difficult to find than one might think.... Julia kindly applied her intelligence and competent understanding to find a solution. She found a bus company with day routes and recommended a lovely hotel for my overnight stay enroute. Thanks to Julia's assistance, I had a most calm, pleasant and beautiful journey back to Peru, where I am now taking residence. Thank you, Julia ! Thanks also to the talented chef :) Who introduced me to several delicious tradional dishes PLUS created the most delicious cupcake I have ever tasted ! :) !

This such a beautiful property and it’s wonderful to go back in time when you stay there. It’s been preserved beautifully. The rooms are lovely and the food is excellent. Great central location as well. A big thanks also to Julia and Sandiego on the front desk who were amazing.

This property is quite unique, very much like stepping back in time. All sorts of memorabilia dotted all around, with a beautiful central atrium which houses the restaurant. Our room was generous in size overlooking the atrium which meant it was quiet at night. The restaurant serves up very good food. The staff were very helpful assisting us with cancellations due to road closures.

The hotel interior looked good, and there is an interesting museum gallery of local historic artworks and artefacts. There are some fine plants in the courtyard but it's a bit of a stretch to call it a garden.

The location of the hotel was excellent. you can walk to everywhere in the town from here but it was really quiet at night. The hotel itself is a beautiful building and had a room laid out as a museum. We didn't have breakfast here but it is served in an internal courtyard. A lovely place.

This property is uniquely beautiful as it’s been restored to resemble a museum. The upper floors look down on the restaurant. The rooms are lovely with modern bathrooms.

the room was nice an big. enough space for the two of us nd great location. however, most rooms of the hotel are without window. the rooms are still great, just be aware of that fact. the rooms with the window are facing the street and it is at times quit loud.
