Overview
Right by Lake Lohijärvi, this guesthouse features room with private bathrooms, and access to excellent hunting grounds and fishing waters, just an hours’ drive from Rovaniemi. Some of the rooms at Lohijärven Eräkeskus also offer fridge, microwave and coffee/tea facilities. Other rooms have shared access to these facilities. At Lohijärvi there is a rentable smoke sauna, which can be pre-booked. Other leisure options include cross-country skiing trails and snow mobile trails. Both boats and snow shoes can be rented. The town of Ylitornio is 40 minutes’ drive away.

“Relaxed in the sauna, swam and good night’s sleep”
Quiet and away from towns. Nice night in the sauna and swimming. Very flexible and welcoming hosts. Easy parking next to the building.

Nice welcoming owner, remote and quite location in the forest, close to the lake. Distance still not that far from Rovaniemi, so it was a perfect escape from crowds of tourists. Sauna was also great!

Everything was great The appartemnt/house was clean and good, had more then expected. Common area and saunas are very good,have all you need. Also good beach to swim at We had a really good stay

Superb accommodation located in a beautiful and quiet lakeside area. Rooms are a little bit smaller but there is a large living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The sauna is just perfect.

Friendly, quiet, peaceful, clean and great value for money. Particularly loved time in the sauna after a swim in the lake. Be prepared by applying mosquito repellent before stepping out of the car. I found mosquitos in Finland to be quite aggressive around lakes and forests

A beautiful place to retreat from the hectic city close to the arctic circle. We visited during the summer and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature. Places for hiking nearby, possibility to rent a fatbike, lakeside with beautiful sandy beach and shallow water suitable for even the youngest, free access to a small boat to go out on the lake a little further. Not to forget the endless berries in the Finnish forest at least during July-August. The owner Heikki was exceptionally helpful, generous and available at nearly all times on phone or in person. I am definitely ready to come back one day!

“Great place ro rest a little”
Very peaceful place, many facilities both in the apartment (fully equiped kitchen) and in the object (sauna, grill place, tables and benches, parking lot, close to the lake)

Very friendly owners and other guests. The general living room (used by all guests) is very cozy and it even has a sauna! It is right next to the lakes which is amazing!!
