“Lovely place”

It had very beautiful garden, what was in the back of the house and close to the river. Kitchen was nice and spacious. There are also some additional things, as coffee, tea, butter and jams, so that is big plus. As I was there alone felt everything huge. Room was clean, cozy and reminded me the old times at grand grandma. Riccardo was very kind and helpful. He explaind everything at the check in. I can just recommend the place. Log pod Mangartom is the quiet nice place with few interest points, as the waterfalls, old mine and the view from the top is spectacular. NOTE: one small thing, there is no market, but if you stay longer, there is moving market stoping by.

The highlights are the (very well equipped) kitchen and the nice garden in the back. The rooms have a unique atmosphere, are clean and the beds are very comfortable :)

“Clean and unique place, very kind host”

This is a typical old Slovenian house of the mountains restyled to accommodate guests on a budget. Everywhere has been covered with wood and the feeling is very cozy and unique. I slept very well in a big spacious and silent room at the second floor of the main building. There is a second small building nearby where guests have a kitchen at disposal, where you can find everything for your breakfast in the morning and something during the day. On the second floor of the kitchen building there is a leisure room, with big sofas, a TV set, some books. Everywhere in the buildings the furniture is very very good and unique, as it was chosen from old pieces of very good quality (e.g. the sofas are made of leather, chairs in the kitchen are covered with tapestries' style fabrics, each piece of furniture is different in design). Also to be noted is that everywhere it is extremely clean and the host is really super kind as everyone said in the comments I read before arriving.

Joe's place was lovely! I only stayed one night but got to meet other travellers and have a nice chat with Joe as a fellow biker about his motorcycle adventures. The room was the perfect size, the bed was comfortable, and the garden was wonderful to chill and read. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location, awesome kitchen and backyard area. Space for kids to play or to have a cup of tea at a picnic table outside. Such a serene place!

Nice kitchen and garden behind the house, quiet location and enough parking places. Awesome quality of water. Beds were little bit small but very comfortable.

Friendly and extremely helpful owner who gave us really great advice on local attractions. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It was a lot better than what I expected based on photos, for example. I expected hostel quality facilities, but it was much more like an apartment. The shared kitchen is brilliant, very well equipped, I really recommend using it. It was a fantastic stay there, absolutely recommended!!
