Charming hostess who was very efficient and knowledgeable. Spoke many languages, including English and prepared a delicious breakfast. The property is incredibly quirky and the spiral staircase down to the street in the tower at the end of the garden is amazing. Great location.

Silvia was a great host, very helpful and gave us lots of information. Her garden is so pretty, it was lovely to have such a beautiful area to sit and eat or just enjoy a glass of wine.. Perfect location to walk into Loches which is a beautiful town with so much history. We will definitely return. Kim Pete +Jake

The house was beautiful and full of character. The host Sylivia was lovely, she spent time with our children explaining the history of the house. They helped her pick the fruit from the garden. We really enjoyed our stay

“Enchanting property full of character”

What a gorgeous little place this is, right in the historic part of town. Rustic traditional rooms, with an enchanting garden full of grapevines, beans, passion flowers and figs. I highly recommend staying to take breakfast here in the morning. The pigeon tower itself, at the end of the garden, is actually part of the old city walls, which makes for a very atmospheric exit from the accommodation when walking into town. Sylvie was the perfect host: welcoming, attentive and accommodating. We were sad that we could only stay one night!

A fascinating place to stay and rest. Scale the stairs and loose yourselves in a great loft tucked away from the world. We loved it. A short walk to town and castle, free parking outside.

The host Sylvia was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast in the garden was super - fresh fruits and croissants plus bread and homemade jams. The garden is mature and full of interesting plants!

An enchanting place to stay in the medieval centre of Loches. Silvia is a wonderfully warm and generous host and has created a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, vines and flowers. The apartment and kitchen were perfect, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden is a delight, but the real star is the descent to the Renaissance Quarter of Loches via the 37 spiral steps of the Pigeonnier, both fun and magical. Silvia has a menagerie of animals, including Emy the little rescue dog, Glenda the (elusive) cat and Lucio the hedgehog - the latter rescued by Silvia last autumn. Lucio has now made a home for himself in Silvia’s garden and has never strayed (and why would he?) We wished we could have stayed longer too, as this is a beautiful, special place to stay in Loches and Silvia is so welcoming, friendly and has a wealth of local information too.
