We had a wonderful stay in Locarno! The accommodation is situated a little higher up, which makes it peaceful and provides beautiful views of the lake. It’s also a great base for hiking – we really enjoyed exploring the area. Traveling by train was easy, and there’s a bus that stops right in front of the property. A special highlight was the vegan breakfast: we had informed the host in advance, and she kindly prepared delicious vegan options just for us, which we really appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay – we would happily return!

Simple, basic, but clean and reasonable price. Easy to reach Locarno by bus. Easy walk to Orselina. Easy self check in and easy parking around the corner at extra cost.

This is a lovely B&B. The view is very nice, the gardens are comfy to sit in, and our room and bathroom were very spacious. We particularly enjoyed the characterful interior design! The self check-in was smooth.

Stairs leading to the shared room were very steep. I thought we should have had warning of this, as the room wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility issues.

The guesthouse is located on the hill, where you go up by car on a winding road. Instead, it was close to the Madonna del Sasso church, 15 minutes on foot. The whole house is artistically decorated, with a calm and pleasant interior. The room was bright, clean, with a comfortable sofa, and from the balcony a beautiful view of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. We really liked the garden behind the house. In the evening, among the vines and flowers, at the large stone table with benches, the kind host served us a very good focaccia and we could drink a glass of beer. We would have liked to stay more days in Locarno! Good, traditional breakfast with grapes from the garden and regional products, delicious jams, caramelized almonds and good coffee.

FIRST OFF—THE VIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place has the best views! The hostess was very accommodating, always available, and her B&B was so charming. She also has a dog and the dog was so sweet and precious and well behaved. I got the room with the private bathroom and it was worth more to me so I wouldn’t have to share a bathroom with others. The room was beautiful and had lots of natural light. The bed was perfectly sized and very comfortable. I loved the toiletries included and breakfast was very traditional to the area. The house is beautiful decorated and the rooms offer nice toiletries and bits to make you more comfortable (table fan, different thickness of blankets, throw pillows). There is also a beautiful monastery that is within a 5-10 minute walk from the B&B. It’s definitely worth checking out! There is also the Cardada gondola very close by this B&B!

Everything was excellent! Me and my husband stayed on a ensuite and the room was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom has a great size with a good shower and bathtub, the view from the room is beautiful, you can see the lake from the top, the breakfast was great, we loved everything!
