Great location and very friendly staff. Amazing views of the sea, mountains and sunsets. Sustainable awareness, and a 5 minutes walk to the surf spot.

I had the most magical stay here, very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and La Casona has the most stunning view of the ocean.

“Unbelievable view with the best host!”
Our stay was really comfortable and our room was nice and big. Everything waa clean. Fio was an outstanding host who goes above and beyond. Fio ordered us a taxi and come with us to go to the bank and grab some groceries from in town at Talara. You can use the kitchen where it is spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but nice all the same.

La Casona is really exceptional. The staff is super friendly, the room and public spaces are extremely comfortable and the views (especially sunsets) are just magical. They also organise some fun evening activities during the week. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lobitos and would love to visit again myself:)

I liked the owner, the “30 seconds away from the beach” location, peaceful and safe enviroment, breakfast that was included in the stay and overall ambient of the place compared to the rest of Talara.

Very welcoming hostel friendly staff the have different events on threw the week like family lunches and movie night couldn’t recommend it enough smack bang in the middle of two points to surf with epic complementary breakfast each morning even if you go surfing early the will wait for you to get back and make it, the also help out the local kids with English classes and activities with the money they make from the hostel

“Really nice week where I got to know nice people, went surfing and just relaxed.”
Its right next to the ocean, you have a great view from the terrace area, its a really big house which is really open and theres space for everyone, theres even a room just for Yoga. The people that work there are really welcoming and friendly. They do events like bonfire, karaoke and movie nights for free. Its a really good place to chill and enjoy the beach and surfing.

“Fun days at La Casona!”
Amazing location, just a few steps from the sand. The view is unique and spectacular. Watching the sunset at La Casona's balcony is a true experience. The staff was amazing. Both Fiorela and Oscar made everything they could to make me feel at home, and it really feels like home. The volunteer staff was great also.
