“We return regularly to Sörmons Stugby in Ljusnedal and always get a warm welcome from the owners.”
Location near cross-country ski tracks, friendly owners, simple but comfortable and great value accommodation - significantly cheaper than the equivalent in the UK. The owners cleared the drive and footpaths regularly so that we could drive out easily.

The owner are very friendly. The chalet was right next to the cross-country ski tracks. Good Internet connection and speed. Spacious and good value for money for a couple (but may be a little cramped for 4 adults). This is an excellent cross-country ski area with hundreds of kilometres of well-groomed tracks, so the questions above about downhill resort skiing (a very limited subset of the skiing genre) are largely irrelevant, and not why we visit this area.
