Large hotel in a great location. Big rooms with a view over lake.

We loved the location, the peace once the tourists had gone, and especially all the help we had from Tanja on Reception. She was fantastic. We loved being able to swim so close to the hotel.

It's a wonderful place, so peaceful, great for kids and taking rest. The hotel itself is exactly like the pictures, including the rooms (or apartments, we were in an apartment). Our initial apartment view was the one of the mountains, but since the hotel was mostly empty, they upgraded us to the view of the lake and the monastery (as can be seen in the pictures). They didn't have heating the first two days as the day we came was the first day they were open, but they gave us a heater that was more than enough for the bedroom which we used most of the time, and they started heating afterwards. The cleaning ladies were so kind and respectful, and the apartment was pristine. They cleaned every day, we received new towels daily, and they always asked if and when they could come in if we were still inside. The toiletries were also added daily. The restaurant is nice, but the waiters and bartenders are the best thing in the hotel: they took care of our son every day, played with him, he loved them so much and they adored him in return; I had dietary requirements the first two days, and they always went far and beyond to accommodate me (I was fasting, but in an Orthodox Christian manner). All in all, we already miss them and can't wait to come back again!

Secluded, within the monastary, lots of tour groups during the day, yet after 4 pm all tranquil.

Very touristy place but it is calm in the evenings and mornings. Amazing breakfast with great view over the lake from the terasse!

Unique location with fantastic views. Room very tired with old furniture, cleaning staff can do better. If you prefer a bed that is harder than the floor, you will be in utopia, most uncomfortable thing we have ever slept in. If we were offered a return visit FOC it would be declined.

Great place, great service, pleasant waiter. Amazing place with maintained whole monastery area. In addition we enjoyed the opportunity to be alone in monastery area early morning due to overnight stay. Perfect place for calm relax!

The location,the view from our room,the staff was kind and helpful.In the evening it is very quiet and special to stay and walk around in the monastery.The breakfast is enough amd the view from the terrace is amazing.

The location is absolutely beautiful and truly unmatched in Ohrid. Waking up in a lake-view room was quiet, peaceful, and simply unforgettable. The setting around the monastery and the lake makes this hotel one of the most unique places to stay in the area.

Breakfast was quite basic but still satisfactory.

The bedroom suite was as advertised and very spacious. The lake view did not exist unless you stood up and peered outside the windows so there was no view - let alone lake view - most of the time from inside the room. The breakfast was adequate and I felt the hotel was trying. The fresh fruit was kept in the fridge and was cold to the touch when put out. The first apple I threw away as it was rotten in parts. The second day - the apple was worse and I left it in the fruit bowl. Half was rotten.

Incredible location with a view of a beautiful medieval church and Lake Ohrid. Very friendly staff (even though we had the occasional language barrier, they were always helpful). We loved the peacocks in the garden.

Fantastic place, I am dreaming of visiting the St Naum monastery again and also this hotel which is inside the yard of the monastery. I would also mention a very polite, professional and friendly staff!

This place is such a gem! I honestly loved everything. The room was super clean, everything worked just right. Big shower, comfy beds – perfect. You’d never guess it’s an old building, they really take care of it and it shows. The view of the lake was amazing, nature all around, and it was so peaceful – especially in the mornings and evenings. And the peacocks singing.
