“A lovely house for a family vacation. Recommended.”

We rented the house for a family vacation - 6 adults and a baby. The house is lovely, simple and meets all requirements. Comfortable rooms. Beds a little less comfortable. They prepared a neat bed for our baby and a high chair for her. Relatively well-equipped kitchen, the owners spoiled us with bottles of water and fruit. The place is accessible to the sea and the mountain. About 8 minutes from the town of Litochoro. It took us a day and a half to figure out how to have hot water for all of us... So one evening we mostly showered with cold water... It could have been left a little more towels for 6 people... But overall it was great. Recommended!

The house is located next to the main road. During some nights it was a bit too noisy.

The villa was recently built, hence it's very clean. There were many useful things around the house, that you wouldn't expect - for cooking and toiletries, there's also a grill outside that can be used for cooking. The terrace is nice, and we've spent a lot of time having meals there as well as sunbathing. It's good that you can park the car right next to the villa. There's an AC in every room, so it doesn't get hot. It's pet friendly - we've stayed with two small dogs, and it was fine. The main issue is that you need a car to get around. The nearest beach is around 1km away on foot (next to Veranda Seaside), and if you would like to walk, you will have to walk on the side of the road that has no sidewalk (and cars are going pretty fast, so it does feel a bit dangerous). The nearest grocery store is in Litochoro - it's only 7 min drive, and I would consider walking there impossible. The beach next to Veranda Seaside (1km, 1 min drive, can walk there) - you need swimming shoes, since it's a rocky beach, and there are sea urchins. The beach next to Le Moon (3km, 5 min drive, can't walk there) - it's a sandy beach, but get's crowded sometimes. If you continue down the beach you will find more spots. Both beaches have sunbeds and umbrellas that are "free" - you don't pay anything, but you have to order something from the cafe that provides those sunbeds. Usually, it will cost you around 5 euros per person (iced coffee is the cheapest option). There are various activities around, like hiking (we recommend Orlias Stream) and Byzantine castle, all within 30 min driving distance. Litochoro has plenty of restaurants, some tourist shops, and some places to walk around. Olympus and the sea view are great!

“Summer holiday in Plaka, GR”

The villa is located on the road to Plaka and is very peaceful and quite place. The villa itself is very modern and had all that we needed for our stay. There is a large living room on the first floor, two more rooms on the second floor & one spacious room for 4 people on the third floor. There are two large toilets with baths on each floor. Each room is equiped with an air-conditioner that are used free of charge. There is a very large veranda on the first floor that is perfect for sun-bathing & for quite evenings with friends and family. The villa has a working dish-washer and all the plates, glasses & cutlery that we needed. The hosts have left even dish-washing tablets for us. There is also a working washing machine with Ariel detergent left for us. The yard is very large and well kept. Our dogs loved the yard where they could run freely and felt also very well. There is plenty of space for parking more that two cars. The internet connection was also satisfactory in the entire villa. The villa is 3-4 minutes drive from Plaka & 5 minutes drive from a very nice, sandy beach (close to Farokokallo tavern). We really enjoyed our time there and would definetely like to go back next year.
