Overview
In the heart of the Pays d’Auge region, Maison d’Hôtes la Bihorée is a small 16th-Century manor house set within a 1-hectare park. The 2-bedroom suite is located in the former apple press workshop. Accessed by a private entrance, the suite features a flat-screen TV and a seating area. There is a private bath room with a large shower opened on the main room. The breakfast can be served in the garden or on the veranda and includes regional products, homemade jam, fresh fruit juice and bread from the region. The hosts can prepare a small meal upon prior request. Guests can relax in the garden’s hammocks and deckchairs. Activities in the area include walking in the countryside, castle visits and trips to the nearby Deauville and Cabourg beaches. Honfleur is 36 km away.

Gorgeous 16th century old mill house with accommodation in refurbished buildings. Very quiet, beautiful gardens and view. Only 10 mins from Liseux. Very friendly and helpful host who supplied a bountiful and most delicious breakfast.

Marie Jeanne is a terrific host, helpful in every way. The location is remote and peaceful, Norman countryside. A lovely property. Big comfortable bed. Lots of character, a place where you just like to be.

A beautiful room in stunning surroundings. Very comfortable bed and Marie is an excellent host. She speaks English fluently and is full of helpful advice. Loved the dogs, too.

“A stylish stay in the Normandy countryside, with friendly hosts”
The adjoining rooms was a very stylish conversion of an old cider press, and gives you independence as it is a separate building (great when you have a noisy toddler). Nice to have cooking facilities, and a lovely French breakfast is brought in the morning. The classic Normandy buildings in a meadow make for a picturesque setting, with lovely views when we woke up. Car was secure as there is a locked gate. The hosts could do nothing more to make our stay a pleasure - thank you!

The owner’s welcome was very warm, lots of stories about the place and Marie and Fabrice both très sympa! The breakfast was amazing and served outside and the whole atmosphere just very in family. We will certainly return. Fully recommended for a country side stay with beautiful views.
