Great and clean apartment. Well located

“A beautiful apartment”

A beautiful & large apartment, which is impeccably presented with great facilities. It has a well appointed kitchen & lovely shower room. The bedroom, with double bed, is spacious. There is a large terrace to the side and a private balcony to the rear. Unfortunately, it is right next to another apartment with little sound-proofing between the two. However, I may have just had especially noisy neighbours for one night. The next night the new guests were much better. And the bedroom is at the far end of the apartment, and it is very quiet indeed. It's tucked away down a small side street of cafés, with a secure electric gate into the driveway of the property, so parking is provided and it is very safe. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away. Communications with the owners were great, they were very helpful.

This property was without doubt one of the nicest cleanest and best equipped that I have ever stayed in, and I am lucky to have travelled an awful lot and seen some horror stories. Nadine and Patrice the owners are absolutely wonderful people who went out of there way to make us feel comfortable. The property is very high end finished and immaculate, 5 minutes from a wonderful beach with shops just outside the gated drive way. I didn't want to post this as I wanted to keep this gem to myself but that would be unfair to other travellers. I am sure we will be back many times in the future.

The property was immaculately clean and comfortable with plenty of outdoor space. The secure parking was a real bonus as was the proximity to the seafront.

Lovely clean and modern pair of Gites on top of owners very modern house. Private gated access, despite being 50m from the sea front. Easy walk to all the local bars, shops and beach front. A great location for a holiday in Normandy, close to Bayeux and all the D Day sites.

“Amazing stay!”

Very kind hosts who were waiting for our arrival, gave us lots of information about our stay and the village. The appartement is right above their house, so very easy when there are some questions or uncertainties. The appartement itself was very clean and certainly big enough for 2 people. There are towels & bedlinnen available at the appartement. It has everything you need! We came by car and were allowed to park the car on the driveway of the appartement, which is closed off by an automatic gate. The appartement is on a great location. Lion-sur-Mer is a small village with a gasstation, supermarket, bakeries and a few restaurants. Plus the appartement is on less than a five minute walk to the beach!
