The best stay of our entire trip, staff are amazing and could not do enough for us. The place is idyllic and so peaceful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, such amazing value too.

A very interesting rural setting, at a riding school, near the E4 motorway. Comfortable room, and a very good breakfast. They do dinners as well.

“Awesome place”
Really kind and helpful personnel, clean and good looking room with bathroom, nice breakfast. Beautiful countryside. Even the possibility to charge (paid) your car on the free parking.

“A place to relax in the countryside”
It has a great relax area, with a pool, jacuzzi and sauna. You have to pay an extra fee for it, which is weird to me, but it's worth it.

Very clean,. Staff was gone when we arrived but gave us pictures to help locate where someone were. Staff hunted down some gluten free bread for me

“Cosy stay in a farm close to Linköping”
The hotel is located in a lovely farm raising horses with huge grassland and beautiful nature. It was quiet and cosy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfy.

“We won't be back.”
This place is undoubtedly better in the summer as it is basically a horse farm. Not very easy to find without a GPS on your car (which we didn'thave), badly sign posted from the highway (first sign only mentioning Icelandic ponies, no "värdshus"). We would never had found the hotel accommodation without the help of a woman having a horse riding course. We knew there would be no staff around (got our room keys from a box with a code sent ahead), but because of bad sign posting without the help we found on site, not sure we would have found the small house containing our room (there seems to be several buildings with rooms). Room minimal, nicely done up, but lacking any surface to put things, 1 chair, no tables. Found cleaning rags left behind. 2 plastic glasses in bathroom, which is large and well equipped, but again no place to put anything. TV very good, beds very good. Lighting over beds good. Those three things plus a good shower are the only positive things I can say about Stenholmens Gårdshotel - plus it is quiet (but we´re off season).
