Overview
This hotel is located in the ski resort of Sälen, 150 metres from the Lindvallen Ski Centre. It offers free sauna access, rooms with flat-screen TVs and excellent skiing opportunities. Most guest rooms at Olarsgården Hotell overlook the surrounding forest. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Olarsgården’s restaurant offers Swedish cuisine including game delicacies and fresh vegetables from the local region. A light lunch menu is available. It is a very cozy hotel close to the slope. The breakfast was very good and complete, perfect for a ski day. The best thing was the staff, super nice and helpfull.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure we arrived knowing where to collect keys after hours. Room was a great size for us and comfortable.

“Quite a good place to stay but ensure you read carefully about room size and bathroom size.”
Setting is quite nice, decor is in spirit of the local ski area, bar and restaurant resonable good, breakfast quite ok. Most of the staff spoke english well enough and were helpful and friendly. Overall ambience of the hotel is pleasant.

Old style, beautiful main building. Very modern and beautiful room (family room with two bedrooms in main building). Very friendly lady in reception, .made room for us in the restaurant even though they were fully booked.. Breakfast was fine. Free parking.

Perfect location for our purposes. The hotel is in a ski resort, but at this time of the year very quit. Good food, fine breakfast, so we would certainly visit again.
