“Cute, quaint French apartment”

If you're after a 5-star hotel, this is not for you, however, the French charm, the rustic feel, the slightly rural outlook within walking distance of the quaint town of Limoux made it perfect. We loved self-catering and the feeling of living in France rather than just passing through a bland hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean.

At first the host was very nice and accommodating, we arrived in Toulouse and travelled to Limoux by car. We changed the time of arrival a couple of times (he lives on site so he was flexible) and we told him we may have extra guests so we paid an additional 40 euros cash. He made up the pull out bed in the living room but it was flimsy and not sturdy at all as it folded when they went to bed.

“Lose the kitchen (a coffee/tea facility would suffice) and improve the bathroom.”

Nicely designed Appartment, very well equipped. I had booked last minute as the local campsite was closed and nevertheless was a smooth check in procedure. Didn't see any house number on the property, it's the one with the big blue door next to a patio like seating area. Very friendly owner! One of the best equipped kitchens I came across on booking. Huge comfortable bed.

Everything was sparkly clean and fresh. The bathroom was on the far end of the apartment, so using it doesn't disturb the others staying there. The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were really fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped. There was a comfortable sofa to relax on. There is a lot of thought put into creating the space.

The apartment was quite nice but there were some things that put me off and I would not stay there again. The location was convenient to the town with its restaurants and bars (if you're game). There's a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and more in the room.

Good location close to Limoux centre but in a quiet area. The apartment was cosy and had everything we needed.
