Overview
This family-owned B&B, 300 metres from the Västerdal River, is 5 km from Kläppen Ski Resort. Guests can enjoy access to a gazebo, laundry room, along with ski storage and BBQ equipment. Each bright and fresh guest room at Sörnäsgården Bed & Breakfast features a flat-screen TV and an in-room washbasin. Bathroom facilities are shared. Some rooms have views over the river. A children’s playroom and common room with a seating area, games and books are found at the property. The daily breakfast buffet and light evening meals are served in the large dining room. The location is perfect, this accommodation is very close to the Kläppen ski resort. The owners of the guesthouse are very pleasant and communicating with them has been very easy right from the start. The rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and comfortable.

“Slightly remote B&B”
OK Bed & Breakfast, location is little bit remote from Sälen, and since we stayed there off-season it was a challenge to find a place for dinner. The rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast was simple but ok.

We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)

“Really great place to stay.”
The hosts are super nice and friendly. The whole place is sparkling clean including the showers and toilets and is really well maintained as well as cosy with all the decorations. Located in a super quiet area. Breakfast consists of different types of bread, cooked eggs, cheese, salami, jam, vegetables, yogurt, musli, cornflakes, coffee and tea. Being able to check in after 11pm was a huge help.

“Good overall, great value for money”
The location is great for snow and Ice activity nearby and is convenient since it's not far from the main road but quite enough for buzzing and traffic—good value for money. Friendly host with certain flexibility.
