“Beautiful place surrounded by nature.”
Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at Canto da Vida. The place is magical - the cosy cute cabins are surrounded by native flora/fauna, and the camping is super close to the national park. The park itself super well kept, there is information in English, the people are nice and helpful, and it's an absolutely beautiful place for hiking, swimming, and enjoying the nature. Nelson, the owner of the camp is a lovely person, and made us feel welcome, safe, and comfortable (despite the fact that we didn't speak any Portuguese). The camp has a pool, which is super nice to just relax after a full-day hike in the sun. The buffet breakfast is homemade and yummy! One recommendation: the road to Ibitipoca is in a very bad condition. If you're coming by car, I recommend to get an SUV. While it is possible to do it in a small city car like us, you'll save yourself a lot of stress.
