Delightful hosts who were so welcoming to us and our dogs. Wonderful breakfasts with homemade speciality jams. Shower area large and safe for me being rather non-agile. Fridge, kettle and microwave useful. Atmospheric room, very comfortable bed and beautiful bed linen. Courtyard garden with comfortable seating. Rural setting.

The breakfast was freshly baked every day and was provided, with a smile, at the time that we asked. The setting is nicely rural and peaceful.

This is a very comfortable accommodation in the countryside with easy access to the town and facilities. The owners are lovely and welcomed us and our two little dogs. The breakfast is great, served in the courtyard garden and with homemade conserves. We enjoyed a picnic evening meal with local wines at the table outside our room. Great dog walks nearby and nice to see the horses, goats and chickens. We stayed for 2 nights but would stay longer, so calm and peaceful. We enjoyed visiting the local caves.

Excellent place to stay, very quiet and tranquil. Enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard shaded by fruit trees. The room was very well equipped and had everything to make you feel comfortable

Davy and Virginie were lovely hosts and provided a warm welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable and the terrace outside a lovely haven for relaxing. Homemade jams with breakfast made it all feel very nice

“A little slice of Loire Valley paradise”

A little slice of Loire Valley paradise :) A lovely gite (plus hotel rooms) in an idyllic, green, peaceful setting just outside L'lle Bouchard. Everything was perfect. The location is central to many 'must-see' sights; the accommodation was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-appointed - and our hosts were delightful. The resident horses and goats were also friendly neighbours :) I was travelling with my cat, Jackson Barn Cat, and neither of us wanted to leave :)

Very quiet rural location, perfect for us with a nervous dog. The photos on the website did not do the interior of the accommodation justice it was beautiful and full of character with everything you could wish for. There was no tv which added to the enjoyment of our stay; we enjoyed the surroundings more and talked! The breakfast was a delight with homemade preserves etc and the owners lovely. Would be a lovely romantic break.

Lovely hosts have made such an effort and it shows , it was lovely and cosy, breakfast was excellent, with some delicious home made jams . Close to chinon and Richelieu its a great location for exploring . Peaceful sleep and wildlife make it a great choice .very comfortable room and decor
