“Beautiful and lovely stay with touches of modern facilities”

This little hotel is located close to the North Gate entrance . No vehicles can enter so the hotel had arranged for a buggy to pick our luggages up and lead us there. Its just a 10 minutes walk downslope. On wet days it can get a little slippery due to the cobbled stones. Its located inside the Achient city but close enough to the main road. Its is situated in a little corner and very quiet at night for a good night rest. The staff is always a message away and they maily use Wechat as their mode of communication. Good to download the app first before going to China. Mainly use there as it gets translated efficiently. The room is the right size for the 2 of us. But the facilities are clean and modern.

I had an exceptional stay at this accommodation in Lijiang. The facilities are magnificent, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax and recharge. Its location is very convenient for accessing the Old Town, yet it feels like a serene retreat. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are so comfortable you truly feel better than at home. The staff are exceptionally attentive and genuinely kind, always ready to help with anything you need. Without any doubt, when we return to Lijiang we will book this place again. Highly recommended!

“Awesome stay and good value for money!”

The hotel is near the entrance to the old town but not in the busiest area. It is so accessible to other parts of the old town yet very peaceful and tranquil once you step inside the door. We really enjoyed staying there. The staff reached out to us before our arrival and offered luggage transport service. They welcomed us with hot tea. It was so good. They also shared with us the good restaurants around the home-stay. We asked for their help to find a driver for the next day and they managed to connect us with a good driver (a bit pricey but she was very nice btw). Super friendly staff and they checked with us even after we left. The beddings and towels were so clean. We also liked that the house and the courtyard were kept their traditional style, but the interior is modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. We really liked the rice noodle soup. Highly recommend it.

Location is excellent. It’s located inside the Lijiang old town but yet did not hear any noise at all. Total 5 units in this small cottage. Very serene & cozy place. 2x housekeepers (Xiao Qing & Xiao Xue) service is excellent. Always there to help & provide information. Room size is good. Enough space for our 2x big luggage & a working desk. It has a separate WC & shower space. It has a heated seat. Just love it. Provide set breakfast (western or Chinese). Evening tea session with the housekeeper is informative; get to know more about the whole town.

“A GEM in LiJiang Old Town”

We stayed 3 nights in Nundo. We loved the combination of traditional architecture of building and the modern chinois furnishing. Our room was on level 2. Right along the corridor to the room, there was a continuous bench where we could lounge, read and enjoy the courtyard. We loved our room, it was spacious, the layout was superb with separate water closet and shower. There was a tea area in the room and a writing area overlooking the courtyard. The bed was large and comfy. Xiao Ching who checked us in was enthusiastic and warm. She gave us lots of information to start our exploration of Lijiang. She was always a wechat message away. We love Hwa Jie who cooked delicious hot breakfast and make sure our room was tidied and cleaned. The inn is well located in a quiet alley and a short walk to the entrance and the nearby TCC Passenger Service Point where we boarded bus to Tiger Leaping Gorge and other transport to other places. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and shops. The inn provided a washing machine and dryer we could use free of charge. We had a wonderful stay in Nundo.

“Beautiful Home Coming !”

This is our second stay in Nundo within the same trip... we had stayed in 2 other inns within Lijiang and Shuhe. It really felt like coming home when we stepped into Nundo again. We missed the warmth and friendliness of staff, Xiao Ching and Hwa Jie. The room layout was the efficient and the amenities such as dining room and laundry were top notch. We stayed a total of 5 nights and wished we had more days ... Xiao Ching knowing that we had re-booked, contacted me and welcomed us back and arranged luggage pick up for us. When we checked out, Xiao Ching took a photo of my husband and I and placed it in a frame as a momento. That was such a lovely gesture. We will definitely come back if we visit Lijiang Old Town again.

The property was clean and equipped with all amenities needed. The location of the homestay was within Lijiang Ancient Town, making it very convenient to access shops and restaurants. The host was absolutely lovely, she made us feel welcomed and even helped organised our tours to the snow mountain and Shangri-la. Make sure not to miss the traditional complementary breakfast which was delicious!

This beautiful and luxury b&b is such peaceful and special place, where every detail is just at his right place and carefully choosen. The stuff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast very good, homecooked and varied with excellent Yunnan coffee…..Perfect location where everything in Lijang is in walking distance.

It's quite easy to arrive at the house, not far away from main street, as well as the excellent support of picking-up and drop-off in airport. This is a typical National courtyard with traditional style. It's a good idea to enjoy the sunshine and teatime in winter, cozy chatting with qualified tea and dessert. A completely new architecture, hardware looks good, furniture and decoration feels luscious. Exquisite breakfast, mainly Chinese taste, western style is also possible which need to be booked in advance. Combined flourishing and tranquility, come back from downtown quickly then go to your dream. English - speaking housekeeper, kind guidance and arrangenent for hotspots nearby. Anyway homelike and relaxed, look forward to coming back again!
