I've stayed here twice and it is one of the most pleasant, welcoming and comfortable homes I've ever known. I would recommend to anyone and am looking forward to the next time I can get to Normandy to stay again. Also: food and music are both sublime. Incredible work.

Peaceful location. Incredible hosts that somehow make every guest feel special. Breakfast and dinner are both well thought out and beautifully presented. Nothing is left to chance and nothing disappoints. Relax and enjoy your stay. This is a good one.

“A real gem and our best stay along the Veloscenie”
A real gem. Sumptuous house decorated with taste, the owners Jonathan and Isabelle are adorable. Beds are super comfy and the village is incredibly peaceful. All bang on the Veloscenie trail.

“Maison D'hôtes La Ducelle”
Maison d'hôtes La Doucelle culture etc bien- être is a lovely hotel and the breakfast was outstanding. The host Johnathan was charming and welcoming. We experienced a snippet of his sound therapy, and found that the various sounds that were produced from the varied percussion instruments, were evocative, calming and beautiful.

La Doucelle is a lovely place to stay. The hosts are very nice and welcoming and accommodated us for dinner despite the fact that we hadn’t let them know in advance (which they ask you to do). The food was great, the beds comfy, we will definitely come again!

Beautiful rooms with very comfy beds. Jonathan and Isabelle really looked after us. We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in the evening. A special place!

A superb find in a small village. Jonathan and Isabelle are a wonderful couple who speak excellent English. The rooms are very comfortable and the house is lovely. Breakfast was excellent and included homemade jams, granola and yoghurt. Jonathan's accompanying percussion was brilliant! Very good value too. With hindsight we wish we'd had dinner as I'm sure it would have been great. Will stay again next time we're in the area.
