We loved our stay at La Corte della Carla. We stayed one night with our baby while walking the sentiero del viandante and it was a shame we couldn't stay longer! The house was comfortable and welcoming and Ivana had thought of everything to make us feel at home. She even checked on our progress throughout the day before we arrived and was kind enough to pick us up after dinner when it started raining. We really appreciated the little touches like water and milk in the fridge and all the local recommendations she was able to give us. Ivana has a beautiful house in a beautiful location and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Lierna.

10/10 stay. Very well equipped, incredibly comfortable and very quiet. Ivana was incredibly welcoming, helpful and prompt. We spent a week here over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

“Great little house for a couple.”
Ivana was so welcoming and had provided provisions which we used to make a basic meal. We arrived on a very wet Sunday so no shops open and the location is remote. The house is warm and very comfortable. There is a double bed which us a problem as I am travelling with my son but ivana came back and put down the sofa bed.

“Warm and cosy stay by the lake”
The owner, Ivana welcomed us warmly herself, and gave us some good tips. You have plenty of space in the apartment/house, with some nice little attentions like authentic coffee machine, chocolate and cake.

La Corte Della Carla was the perfect place from which to explore Lierna and Lake Como. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable, and the air conditioning provided a welcome reprieve from the occasionally sweltering heat. The host, Ivana, was beyond lovely and made certain that we were comfortable (including driving us from the Piazza when we arrived). We hope to return someday!!!
