The apartment is fantastic, all you need is there with the addition of an amazing view. What makes it even better is the outstanding host Laura.

The room was clean, the breakfast amazing and the hostess one of the helpful people we have ever met. She made our stay very welcoming and it felt like home. I highly recommend this stay to everyone!

We are Ion and Raisa, a couple that recently stayed at Laura’s place and wanted to share separately our thoughts on the experience we had :) Ion For the first time since I've been taking accommodations, it happens that I arrive somewhere and don't want to leave on for visiting a site - staying at Laura's house offers an authentic experience as well, but it also charges your batteries with positive energy and your eyes with pure joy :) Staying in Laura's house comes with a big dose of personality present in every detail - the sleep is relaxing, the atmosphere peaceful, the view enchanting! :) As for breakfast, it is prepared by Laura - and this gives you the impression that you have stayed with an Italian family :) We agreed as a couple that for both of us this was the best accommodation experience ever! :) If heaven were to move to earth - it would surely start from Laura's garden :) Raisa In this house I felt like in a nest. That's what we call in Romanian the houses that birds build from various natural materials. People have even borrowed this term and use it when they want to express the idea of a personal, authentic and family home. In this house I felt like a baby surrounded by carefully chosen natural details and a unique warmth from my host. Laura is a wonderful host! Her way of organising things made us want to repeat the experience soon! :)

“Great stay with amazing hosts”

Very nice place, located in lovely town of Lierna. Laura and Gerry were great hosts, they made us feel like part of their family for three days of our stay. In room there was everything we needed, it was decorated with paintings and art made by Laura. Breakfast was great with amazing scrambled eggs, local products like cheese, ham etc., pastries and coffee. Outside there was beautiful garden with breathtaking view at the lake and at the mountains on the other side. Laura was very helpful and gave good advices regarding trips we could make from Lierna, our stay here couldn't be better.

Loved out stay here, stayed with the kindest couple that took really good care of us and made us the most delicious breakfast every morning. Laura was very helpful with all our needs and helped us every step of the way. She also gave us some recommendations which were very nice as well. Truly an amazing stay and we highly recommend!

The b&b was well located in the small town Lierna which has all the necessities - pharmacy, store & small pizza place. There is also a lovely restaurant Sottovento with views of the lake. Varenna is an easy 20 minute train from Lierna & Bellagio is 20 mins by ferry. Laura made us a lovely breakfast each morning with prosciutto, juice, pastries & scrambled eggs. The room was lovely, well decorated with its own private entrance & lots of separate tables set up to sit outside in the beautiful garden. Couldn’t recommend more!

“Great!!!!”

It was a fantastic stay! The hosts are incredibly hospitable and caring, they helped us with everything. We were happy to meet these wonderful people. Everything in their house is thought out to the smallest detail, they put their soul into every little thing. The apartments are furnished with great taste and love, the breakfast is delicious. We felt at home, our holiday could not have been better. I'm not talking about what a beautiful place the house is located - in the middle of the mountains overlooking the lake. From here you can easily reach the most famous sights of Lake Como, both by train and by ship, pier and train station are within walking distance. We highly recommend everyone to come here and experience the same as us!

“Wonderful, relaxing stay”

We had a great stay here. Location at the foot of the mountains with views over the lake. The town is small and not overrun with tourists, and still has good options for food. It’s also close to Varenna, from which ferries depart to all the main towns. Laura, the owner, is a very kind and thoughtful host. She prepared a delectable breakfast each day. The room and the gardens are gorgeous and well kept. You can notice the effort that went into this place. Totally recommend it.

Amazing host, Laura that welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Very cozy room with artistic interior. Comfortable bed that helped us recover after the day. Beautiful garden with amazing view at Como Lake and mountains. Laura is an amazing, very friendly and positive host that made the stay special. The breakfasts that she made were amazing. If we return to Lake Como, we will definitely return here Grazie mille!

“Best stay in Italy”

First Location is beautiful with a quiet location a little up the mountain, just enough to have a nice view for breakfast. Second train station is just a 10 min walk away, various bars and restaurant 10-15 min. Third you’ll probably find one of the greatest hosts ever. Very kind and caring. Breakfast is super fresh and more than enough. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable and very nicely decorated. To conclude: there is no reason not to come for a visit.
