A fabulous resort. Nothing is too loud, yet everything fits perfectly. The service is excellent, and the staff are thoughtful and kind. They really want to make your day special. It's the small touches that make the experience special. They are also excellent at organising your arrival, arranging for a seaplane to match your flight schedule. I cannot recommend the Le Méridien experience highly enough.

Nice house reef always you to spot a lot when snorkeling. The bar is also nice as it's a great spot for sundowners and adults only. Great food, especially breakfast.

The food was amazing - we had half board and it was breakfast till 11am and dinner in 3 restaurants as of 6:30pm included. And it was absolutely enough for us, additional lunch would be much too much. Breakfast - great buffet with all kind of food, cheese, nice (not exceptional) fruit and GORGEOUS coffee from Illy. Open space, good service, endless capuccinno. Dinner - 3 restaurants a la carte included (with 3 gigantic dishes in each being luxy starter, main course+side dish, dessert and still/sparkling water). All were surely great - with A LOT of sea food (lobsters, king prawns, reef fish), steaks of high quality (tenderloin, ribeye, etc), octopus salads, tartars and big tasty desserts like tiramisu. Everyday you can get a free glass of sparkling wine in a La vie bar in the sun set (which we found out too late unfortunately). Not included food would be TOO expensive for everyday so take a half board option. PS on the arrival we received for no real reason a bottle of cold prosecco and a big set of different pastry. It was soooooo needed. Thank you so much! Service was great - all staff knew english well, were helpful and attentive, we had a personal manager Shurifan who was not fussy but was indeed helpful when needed. Cleaning was twice a day and we did not even notice their presence! Still water in the villa was provided every cleaning time and it was sufficient. We had a beach villa 107 and liked it so much. Initially we wanted to share it for 4days with a water villa and even arranged it with the manager but then changed our mind and remained all the time with our cute beach villa. Guys thank you so much, it was an expensive trip (good Maldives cannot be chip) but it was a great value for money - it was pleasure. A person from the hotel met us in the Male airport and on the way back accompanied us up to the registration airport desk in Male. It was SO private and luxy!

Location. Price and staff We made a request for a specific room (2 bedroom over water villa on the west), Le Meridien were able to reserve the room for us! the 2 bedrooms over watervilla is spectacular! the pool is almost triple the size of the standard rooms, we didnt feel the need to go to the main pool because our pool catered for our needs. did I mention the weather was great even during low season? we stayed 10 days 9 nights, I was a bit worried before we left NZ, as the forecast said its raining for 2 weeks in Maldives but the rain only lasted couple of minutes and then its sunshine all day long. Wifi was super strong Great breakfast Sparkling water is free! Great wild life! Great kids club! We have big appetite, I didnt like to be limited so we went with bed and breakfast only, we bought dinner when we wanted. I loved the housereef, you get to snorkel and the current will take you back to the resort, felt quite safe. when you compare with others, Le Meridian stands out with its spectacular fare and I am sure we will be back.

The island was an amazing location. The house reef was great for snorkeling, we went every day. The beaches were brilliant white sand, and the water was clear blue. We had an overwater sunset villa, and enjoyed the sunset every day from our balcony. The villa was large, and the bed comfortable. There was air conditioning and also a ceiling fan in case you want to leave the doors open but still be cool. The food was excellent, both the buffet-style breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant lunches and dinners. We were on the full-meal plan, which ended up being too much food, since they offered starter, main and desert for lunch and dinner (when you were not at the buffet dinner), with large portions, but still excellent quality. We never had a problem getting reservations for the dinner slots we wanted. exceeded expectations. There were many optional activities. We participated in some sport activities (which were free), but did not participate in the many extra-cost activities, which were quite expensive. The only extra-activity we participated in was an extra BBQ dinner. The food was very good, including grilled lobster and other seafood, but in retrospect not necessary since the normal meals were so good. Overall it was a great holiday. The location, service and food were all above expectations.

Beautiful island, very luxurious, many activities and attractions, everyone was so nice to us both staff and other guests, the food was fantastic, the breakfast was exceptional with so many options to choose from And getting picked up from the airport and taken care of completely was a big plus into making everything stress free :)

We arrived and we were met by the Le meridian team at the seaplane terminal who were extremely helpful in getting us to the seaplane lounge which was well equipped and comfortable. The seaplane transfer was smooth. We arrived to a welcome and a welcome drink and the check-in was easy. The staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout going above and beyond to create a wonderful and peaceful stay. The activities are expensive, however, the house reef is exceptional. Snorkeling equipment is free. There are three restaurants on site which offer variety of options. Vegetarian options are limited though the chefs were very amenable to suggestions. The rooms were elegantly designed and comfortable. The bath was exquisite. If like us you are not heavy eaters, our suggestion would be to go Bed and breakfast because the breakfast is exceptional and filling and dinner can be had for cheaper than the halfboard price. We were at the resort for our honeymoon and they provided us with wonderful hospitality to make it a memorable experience. One of the majors of drivers of us booking this resort was it had good environmental standards of which we saw. Water is desalinated on site. There is no plastic within the rooms, there was a greenhouse on site and it seems that the resort actively respects the environment around it.

The villa that my husband lived in for the past 6 days was beyond words. It's an amazing experience that we never had. It was a honeymoon 20 yrs on. The room and the amenities were perfect. The service rendered from all at the hotel was impeccable.

The lunch at Velaa Restaurant was superb, thoroughly enjoyed it every day plus plenty of choice. Shout-out to the staff at Velaa for the service provided. Also got a lovely little leaving gift from Pranali which was the Icing on the cake.

The whole resort is exceptionally beautiful and it was a joy to spend a week there even in the rainy season. The staff was really helpful, food was delicious and the lush greenery, white beaches, clear water and cozy atmosphere made it feel like paradise. We had to wait 4h in Male in the lobby for the sea plane because of a storm but it wasn't too bad. The flight was fun and the view from the plane was exciting! After arrival they gave us a short ride in a buggy and showed us the island, so beautiful! The overwater villa was breathtaking, from the moment I walked in I loved it, the view, the space and for my partner birthday they prepared a vegan chocolate cake. It was so good that we ordered another one! The bathtub with a sea view when there was a storm outside was just perfect! All restaurants were great, our favourite was Riviera for Spanish cuisine and Turquoise for a special Indian night prepared by the chef. All staff was super helpful and catered to all dietary requirements and made us feel like nothing is a problem :) We lost an earring one night and the buggy drivers helped me find it in the middle of the night! We tried snorkeling - the reef was stunning and we saw turtles and plenty of fish. We went for 1h jetski ride and saw manta rays. The spa was amazing - all treatments were rejuvenating and relaxing, we went there 3 times in a week! All in together I enjoyed the stay so much and I often think about it and how amazing trip it was.

+ the water willa with direct access to the sea was amazing, we could see from the balcony sharks, mantas and different fishes all swimming just right next to the villa + the food in all restaurants was excellent + no strict dress code for the dinner, because of the sand paths we were able to wear flip flops fir entire stay, which was amazing

A dream location, literally paradise island. The amazing food was fresh and even grown on the island, what a winning combination. Phenomenal staff especially Asaf the head chef who went the extra mile at every possible point, even showing us the in house greenhouse food plantation, and then preparing his own caught fish for our final nights dinner…..what more could you wish for? NOTHING is the answer. Magnificent diving on there own boat with up to date decent equipment and an amazing array of sea life that will blow your mind, I’ve dived over 200 times and this place it top 3….. We can’t wait to return. Thanks you all for making our holiday truly magical x

Very Friendly Staff, They took really good care of the Guests. The rooms were very Clean and spacious. The Food with their 4 Restaurants was Fantastic. The Sushi was amazing and the Breakfast Buffet had everything you would ask for.
