Great marine diversity just in front of your doorstep. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They remember details about the guest and they work to make your holiday better before you even ask. Our host Riyaz made our stay much more comfortable and worked to make us feel most welcome. Saja our host at the restaurant made us very comfortable and very well fed, introducing the food etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our villa over the water easily accomodates 2 adults and 1 kid. Night entertainments at the main bar is good for Maldives. Great holiday. All inclusive system gives you an ease of mind with various cocktails, coffee, tea all day.

“Our honeymoon in paradise!”

Absolute paradise! We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our honeymoon. Check in from the seaplane was easy and we were able to wait in the Cocoon lounge at the seaplane terminal. Check in to the hotel was made smooth and quick with our host Nauf who was on hand all week to help out, and created a WhatsApp chat to ask anything at any time. He text a daily schedule of events every morning to let us know what was going on. The food in the restaurant is incredible, with all the dishes cooked fresh in front of you. Special mention to Amila in the restaurant (who we nicknamed the meat man), he always had a big smile and was incredibly friendly! Same goes for Ika and all the staff at the restaurant who were exceptional. Ika knew our room number by the second day of our stay, and went out of her way to learn our names. We had a villa over the lagoon which did not disappoint. The shallow clear waters was perfect for wading and cooling off in the heat! Felt very private and luxury, with the minibar topped up twice a day as required. Another shout out to Hussain who made up our room every day and went out of his way to wish us a happy honeymoon before we had even stepped through the door! He went out of his way to try and get to know us and speak to us every day. He put a special message on our bed in flowers to wish us a happy honeymoon which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend Cocoon to anyone looking to spend time on white sandy beaches and beautiful sunshine! A little island of paradise.

“Peaceful, calm, special.”

The accomodation was perfect and serene. The private pool was lovely and the sea below our deck was like an aquarium! The food was excellent, variety every night. Staff were attentive.

“Paradise”

We stayed in a Lagoon Villa with slide, and the lagoon itself was the absolute highlight. The water right by our villa was unreal. We regularly saw blacktip reef sharks, turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, and so many beautiful fish, often just from our terrace or while swimming. It genuinely felt like having a private aquarium outside the room. The island is also incredibly beautiful. Lush vegetation fills the center, surrounded by stunning white sand all around. You can swim almost anywhere: the water is calm, crystal-clear, and that perfect turquoise you imagine when you think of the Maldives. Snorkeling is very good too, especially near the pier by the Manta restaurant. There are plenty of activities available, but nothing ever felt intrusive. We especially enjoyed a snorkeling trip with nurse sharks, guided by the resort’s marine biologist, who shared explanations along the way. She also gave a short presentation at the hotel about the local marine life, which added a nice layer of context to everything we were seeing around the island. The resort itself is exceptionally well designed and run. The staff were lovely and attentive, and even though the hotel was full during our stay (over Christmas), it never once felt crowded. There was always a sense of space, calm, and privacy. Last but not least, the food completely exceeded our expectations. The quality was consistently excellent and impressively varied throughout the two weeks we stayed.

This place is perfect! A paradise. We had a lagoon villa with pool. This is the best you can have! The guys who took care for us Adda and Moussa were so nice and helpful and polite! “You really touch the paradise.”

Small private island allows to relax, very good food (our favorite was Maldivian night) and the hospitality was exceptional, they're meet needs of guests every minute. There is also small clinic with a doctor and also care for the surrounding nature was noticed. Wifi was very ok almost everywhere. Our host was available on whatsapp and his service was unobtrusive which we liked. We had fun with see creatures (turtles, mantas, lion fish) at our fingertips. Someone who books slide or pool villas should remember it is near to seaplane landing place - might be sometimes noisy (for us it was even fun).

“Great resort”

The resort is awesome, the location is great. The food is exceptional, the beach villa is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a beach bungalow 107 and loved it, lots of space, room cleaned twice a day by our lovely housekeeper Iru. All of the staff at this resort are incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. Special thanks to our host Adda, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. The staff of the restaurant, bar and the water sport is exceptional. The diving with sharks and the big fishing trip were awesome experience. The restaurants are unique and all dishes are tasty. The Japanese garden restaurant, the chef Lalit and the waiters of this place exceeded our expectations. Everyone is very helpful and trying to do the best for guest comfort. Thank you for everything.

Very high standard of service. Beautiful location. Shifak was looking after us , very lovely. All info was given via WhatsApp, no need to go to reception. He dealt with any queries, also gave us a complimentary lunch at one of the bars. Lobbi bar team was great especially Fernando and Visam. The whole island team is very lovely and taking care of their customers.

Loved every second there. It's a perfect little island to have a relaxing holiday. There are daily snorkling trips that are free and also plenty of excursion options. Food is excelent and varies every day (including a lot of international cusines). All the staff on the island is friendly and profesional and you quickly start to feel at home.

Stunning location, one literally falls out the back door to the beach. Intimate and romantic, would be so great if this was an adults only resort. Food was divine, so fresh, and great choice. Manta Ray snorkelling was such a moving experience, it shall remain forever in my heart. Loved our guide, Jasper, a marine biologist from UK, his passion and love of nature, were evident. We all worshipped from a respectful distance. The accommodation was fabulous, such a comfy bed, we had such fun during our stay. Loved the quirkiness of the swing in bathroom. The fruit bats squawking in the evenings as they settled down for the night was hilarious. The different bird songs and walking on the beach utterly sublime. Loved the natural look of the cleverly dotted villas, nestled in amongst the trees and sand pathways, really adds to the desert island vibe! Would have been great if there were reefs. Great to completely unwind, switch off and indulge oneself.

“5 days in Paradise!!!”

We had the most wonderful ever closure to our New Year's Eve vacation. The Maldives experience was exceptional, from the airport arrangements to the sea plane, to landing in PARADISE!!! Everyone was exceptional, from our individual Host, (whom we didn't have to bother all stay long) to the cleaning hosts---I mean EVERYONE. Now, as usual we developed special love for Anisha, Victor (Manager, server, Joker, Entertainer) and Polas....They ran that bar so, so, so good. They were in charge on the main pool bar, and worked super hard and neatly everyday we were more in love with their service. They taught us cocktails need perfect balance (ANNNIIIIEEE!! Muah!), it's not just alcohol in a fruit jar :-) They truly strived to excel, nothing less. Same goes to their servers Ishan, and Rumesh. In the kitchen, Mr. Purna excelled, along with partners in the same dining room Nizam and Foyzul. But it is a bit unfair to just name a few. EVERYONE did their very best. But, saving the best and most difficult job for last - OUR CABIN MAKER - JEWEL - MADE OUR STAY A TRUE DREAM!!!
