“A peaceful week in a beautiful location”

Everything! The apartment had everything we needed, it was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed which made it even more fantastic. There are stairs but the benefit is the amazing view. Really lovely, relaxing four days.

Owners showed best Italian hospitality: met us at the location, brought our luggage inside, explained everything personally and were available online all the time for all our requests. Especially need to mention an amazing balcony view!!! It's one of the best vacations we had.

“This is the place !”

Letizia and family are generous hosts - Ca Eleonora is a gem. I would give this review an 11 out of 10 but for the need to alert people with some advice about the location high on the hill (see later advice for people with mobility issues) Lezzeno is 5 km back from the tourist overload of Bellagio. Quiet and "local". The apartment was superb for this family of three. Ca Eleonora offers facilities, comfort and THE VIEW at a great price. Everything one could ask for....fresh coffee beans waiting - washing machine w detergent - fully appointed kitchen with everything you need down to the olive oil ! Much useful information for visitors - maps - timetables. But the real delight was the generous help we received from the whole family. We were helped out in our transport to and from Lezzano - local shopping for food supplies and wine - in many ways far beyond our expectations. Letizia and family communicate so well....it quite felt like being hosted by old friends. Three bicycles in great condition are available for guests - do use them! The view is to die for - this is the place. We ate out some nights and cooked our own on other nights. Breakfast on the balcony is a memory we will long cherish.

“A perfect place to stay at Lake Como”

The apartment is located in a perfect spot to admire the best parts of the Lake Como. The view from balconies (yes, there are two of them) was so marvelous that we did not want to leave the place for sightseeing. As to the place itself, if you are a fan of "Friends" than this apartment is "Monica clean". If you are not - it is pristine :) The kitchen and other rooms are fully equipped so you do not have to worry about knives, spoons, kitchenware or any “ware”, actually. It is spacious, has two separate bedrooms with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen being a part of a living room. The Owners (with a capital O) are very friendly and helpful. They were more than understanding when I “made” them search for something I thought I left there. And they were happy altogether with me when it turned out that I had this thing with me all the time (sorry guys once more for stressing you out 😊). For those travelling by car, there is a garage for your vehicle close to the house which is invaluable in terms of the temperature and convenience. To sum up, this is a great choice for those who want to visit Lake Como. PS. Another movie reference … if you are a fan of Star Wars then keep in mind that you will be able to look at Villa del Balbianello all the time from the balcony! Does not ring the bell? It will after your trip here but a tiny spoiler … recall the scene of the kiss between Anakin and Padme. Best regards to Letizia and Maurizio :)
