“Quiet, comfortable and authentic”
Our room was huge, as you'd expect in a chateau with a decent sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with excellent bedding although it had an old style 60s wooden headboard which was quite easy to bang your head on. It's very quiet and dark there, as you're in the middle of the country, so perfect for a good night's rest, but there are no restaurants nearby. However, our host looked after us very well and provided a home cooked meal at short notice, starting with canapes with home made cheeses. (The owners are dairy farmers and make their own cheese.) Breakfast was of the standard continental type and fine. This was the cheapest of our overnight stays and a complete bargain.

“Great quiet secluded place”
This is a lovely chateau in the middle of nowhere. The owner is such a friendly lady and a great cook. She brought supper out to us on the lawn as it’s been really hot. The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. Highly recommended for a quiet stay.
