Overview
Offering fully insulated and heated glass igloos, Golden Crown - Levin Iglut provides a peaceful retreat atop Utsuvaara Fell, in Finnish Lapland. Levi Ski Resort is 9 km away. Parking is free. Golden Crown’s igloos include a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Electronically adjustable beds and mountain views are also featured. Some igloos also feature a hot tub and XL king size beds. The igloos offer an unobstructed view of the northern sky and if lucky, you can admire the Northern Lights from inside the igloo. Shared BBQ facilities are found in a wooden tipi hut, which has an open fireplace. There is also a glass roofed Scandinavian style restaurant open from September until April. Kittilä Airport is 17 km from the igloos.

“Terrible experience”
The property handled my reservation poorly, the customer service was appalling, and I had a terrible experience with them. Truly the worst circumstances I’ve ever faced with a hotel.

The stay was very comfortable and cozy. Its was peaceful and perfectly designed. The silence here is something magical. I was able to have the best sleep. It was so quiet and calm that it feels like a therapy for the soul.

“Simple & nice”
Staff was very sweet, the 5 course dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice. we were lucky to get an igloo that was remote.

“An unique place for a winter holiday in the arctic circle”
A perfect location for watching the Aurora, great facility and very well trained/professional staff. The breakfast is delicious with good variety. Although the menu is a bit limited of choices for guests who stay longer than three nights, but the chiefs are making great efforts in preparing the dishes! The reception staff are very efficient and responsive for getting the activities & airport transfer arranged prior to the arrival. The attention to details for meeting guests' expectations are greatly appreciated!

I think the location is the best for Northern Light viewing in this area. The hotel also offer free northern light alert app. It is also close to the south point of the ski area.

We saw the most amazing display of the northern lights/aurora from our bed, it could not have been more magical! Honestly though, even if we hadn’t seen the aurora it would still have been incredible. Highly recommend, it’s a once in a lifetime experience! Also, the breakfast is sooooo good!
