“Clam place to rest on your roadtrip.”

Spacey and clean. Not that we needed it, but accessible to wheelchair users. Staff as really kind and helpful and even found a spot to have our motorcycles a bit more hidden from plain view. Not that you need that in Norway (let alone in that location), but old habits die hard, I guess.

Very interesting place to learn something about the history of Norway. The place is today quite cozy and it feels like a big B&B. There is a small kitchen that can be used to cook (but note that the only grocery store around closes at 18). Breakfast was simple but good. The price includes the entrance to the museum, that you can visit even after closing hours. Remember to check for time of guided tours if you are interested.

“One of a kind stay in a historic place.”

We stayed in Falstadsenteret for one night on a road trip in order to visit the museum and area and learn more about its history. As such, it was a moving and educational visit that we will not forget. The accommodation was reasonably simple but spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Excellent stopover along E6 in a picturesque village. Good breakfast. The centre used to be a nazi prison and a museum in the basement helps keep the memory alive

This is the WW2 museum and the hotel. The hotel part is nice and comfortable, the staff is very nice and helpful but what you realy remmember is not the type of bed you slept on but the museum describing the Nazi atrocities. Good place to stay at.

Super quiet night, clean rooms and healthy breakfast. Excellent beds too. The included museum brings a lot of ww2 history as the surrounding demolished buildings were prisoners cells. The hotel building was Office and other. Very friendly host with many stories to tell and makes sure you feel absolutely 100% guest. Perfect. No TV but free WiFi if you need it.

Exiting to live at a museum with a lot of history. We loved to walk around and read about the history of this place.
