“Nice old-style hotel with excellent staff”

We stayed in the Dorfgasthof part of the hotel, and had a comfortable hotel room with an historic feel. Very helpful and friendly staff. There is an on-site restaurant serving reasonably priced, but somewhat basic, food. Breakfast was decent, although the only hot food option of scrambled eggs was rather cold.

The hotel has two buildings for rooms. We were placed in a room that was located above the restaurant. It was very noisy all night, making sleep nearly impossible. There was constant loud voices and slamming doors from below. This went on until 11 p.m. I wouldn't recommend this room unless other travelers are aware of the noise level.

Very authentic/ traditional stay, amazing restaurant & very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend staying here for a unique one of a kind experience.

“Quiet location and great breakfast”

Nice and quiet hotel with great breakfast and restaurant.

The promotional discount and the genius discount were a very good deal for the double room for single use located in the old part of the hotel dépendance. The room is basic, simple, of a good size, renovated with a laminate floor and very clean. The location is quiet, in a small country village, the room has two large windows with double glasses overlooking the church and it is comfortably heated.

They were very friendly, breakfast had a lot of choices, comfortable bed, nice room, quiet location.

We had a late check-in, and everything went perfectly thanks to the excellent communication with the staff. They were very supportive and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Different type place. Eco-style. All modern style wood interior and extra bed made of cardboard! We stayed in the annex which was modern. Breakfast was served in the main building which was and old gasthaus next to a church. Rural area.

“A gem of a place!”

The hotel got in touch with me after I made the booking to check if there was anything else I needed, and to provide checkin information, which was a nice touch. The facility includes a nearby brewery, coffee roaster, pottery and goldsmith workshops, which were relaunched by the community in old buildings that were tastefully renovated, or kept up in some cases. The rooms were very modern, and the pine paneling gave them a wonderful smell. The staff were very friendly, and you could tell that they were out to make sure your stay was perfect. A really lovely place. And you have to try the Kellerbier, made right there.

Room was comfortable, quiet, spacious and very clean. Room service (like clean towels or general cleaning) was on demand. Staff very friendly. The location was Allgäu-countryside as you would like to expect.
