Both meals came as ordered and we enjoyed them. Your portions are quite large. I was very impressed of how you accommodate for intolerances/allergies. We also liked the layout of your restaurant which allowed more privacy than typical. At breakfast we appreciated that the music was at a lower volume and suspect that that may be appreciated at all times of the day. Most restaurants give little thought to the music that is piped in - most of it is not great music and loud bass and percussion is really quite intrusive - getting in the way of conversation. I/we truly wish that establishments would consider no music or at least a gentler music. We do not appreciate background music and feel that music should be listened to; dining is an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation. Of course, personal preferences are too diverse to please all; we just question the need for in public places. During your renovations we thought you kept things running smoothly. We did mention a bathroom sink that was plugged. We have stayed at the Coast in Edmonton and yours had a better feel - though in Edmonton we are on the go so much during our stays that we rarely have time to enjoy the hotel. Good luck with your renovations.
