“A Fairy Tale Stay”

The location is wonderful- perfect to experience a little of France and yet with the convenience of being near the motorway for onward travel. The property is very pretty with ponds, weeping willows and gardens. We had dinner and it was, no lie, sublime. Martine's tartiflette is exceptional, as were the figs from her garden for dessert. Yum! Breakfast featured her fresh-pressed citrus juice and her own pancakes with confitures, among them a home-made mirabelle one. The bed was really comfortable and we look forward to returning soon (we hope!).

Everything was perfect for our family (3 kids). The dinner served was delicious and made with local products. The owner was very flexible. The breakfast was prepared in advance for us as we had to leave early in the morning. Thanks for everything. We will come back.

Lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely owner ready to help at every step. Super equipped room especially if you are traveling with kids. Recommend for everyone

We used this location to stop during our trip to Turin. Property They have everything that you need and even extra (sauna, jacuzzi bath). Did like to taste local snacks (need to order in advance for extra payment).

“Gorgeous place to stay and feel pampered”

The accommodation is entered through the stables and up a flight of wooden stairs so I was apprehensive. However, a double glazed door takes you into a small gym area with lots of different gym equipment and a small sauna. Up another few steps and you enter a lovely hallway with a computer on a desk at the end. The bedroom is spacious with a nice couch and the large windows overlook the pond area with weeping willows. Separate toilet off the hallway but the bathroom was magnificent. The corner spa bath works very well, candles are there on a shelf, various toiletries and fluffy bath robes. The bed was comfortable and the place was very quiet. 2 small ponies in the stable downstairs. Breakfast was served in the house and was lovely. A variety of breads, brioche, home made jams and yoghurts, tea/coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice

“Good but non-existant Wifi if that's important to you”

The host was nice and the area around it is straight up stunning. So many cows, beautiful sunsets, a great garden area with a pond. There's also a nice bathtub in the bathroom.

Great location, wonderful farmstyle property. Number of ponies, nice little pond, kids could roam freely.

My stay at La jument grise was somewhat unplanned after my car broke down and I was left stranded in St. Trivier de Courtes without anywhere to stay or a means to get there. In spite of it being a Sunday evening, my host managed to source a taxi for me to get there, was extremely welcoming and very accommodating the following day as I needed some time to organise getting back home (without a car). The room was exceptionally large and spotlessly clean. It’s a great location quite close to the A39 (about 10 mins by car) yet in beautiful countryside. Great breakfast too. Thank you for a really pleasant stay and helping me out on what was a very stressful day. We’ll be back :-).
