Overview
Empúries is set in a restored building overlooking the Mediterranean from a secluded beach. It is located nearby Empuries Archeological Site and is a 15-minute walk from L’Escala, on the Costa Brava. The charming rooms at Hostal Empúries all come with a work desk and include en suite bathrooms. Some rooms are equipped with satellite TV channels and many offer a terrace with great views of Portitxol Beach. The property has 2 restaurants: one serving gourmet Mediterranean food and the other offering a range of dishes in an informal environment. Hostal Empúries has a spa service at an extra cost, including a pool, saunas, a gym and sensation shower circuit. Bicycles and electric scooters are rented at the 24-hour reception desk.

“Just lovely”
Beautiful room with great views. I stayed in one of the Spa rooms which was amazing. Reception staff were super nice and helpful at all times, cleaning staff did a great job every day. The breakfast team was really wonderful! Location is great. Right by the beach, an easy 20 minute walk to the village, so many options for dinner and shopping.

A peaceful oasis. Everything to hand and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I have limited mobility but this was not a problem. Will definitely stay here again.

Location and building is just incredible. A spacious and sheltered area with incredible views. Many beautiful areas - libraries, large rooms, fireplace, and also outdoor areas to relax within hotel grounds. Staff are nice.

“Very relaxing, lovely building and gardens”
We loved the hotel location, the gardens, the terrace bar and beach food cafe and being able to order snacks without pre booking and with ease. The staff were friendly and responsive when I requested the floor should be cleaned. The bed was very comfortable.
