“The worst customer service ever”
We had a very disappointing and stressful experience. We spent over €100 on Uber due to incorrect directions provided by the host. We were initially given a PDF with the wrong address. While we were trying to find the location, I informed the host that the address seemed incorrect. However, instead of helping, he insisted that the location was correct, saying that “hundreds of people” had found it without any issues. During this exchange, the person communicating with us via WhatsApp appeared upset and was not cooperative. This made the situation even more difficult, as we were genuinely trying to find the place but were being told that we were the problem. In reality, the address in the PDF was indeed incorrect. The following day, they simply updated the document with the correct address, which confirms that the information we were given initially was wrong. At around 10 PM, we were outside in the middle of a snowstorm with my 8-year-old son and my 67-year-old mother, and no one provided proper assistance. It was a very stressful and unsafe situation. Additionally, we were asked to pay in cash because they claimed they had not received the bank transfer. We tried multiple cards, but they insisted the payment was not going through, and we were ultimately required to pay in cash. On top of all this, the door to our room did not lock properly. The key never worked, which meant our belongings were exposed for the entire duration of our stay. We have clear evidence of all the issues mentioned above and are willing to provide it upon request through the platform. Overall, this experience was poorly handled, avoidable, and far from acceptable given the circumstances.

“Mixed Experience”
The chalet is right along the ski trail for Les Houches. If the weather had been normal, we could have skied in and out of of the front door! There are multiple ski rental companies right down the hill from the chalet in Le Prarion. There was tons of hot water!!! The pool (once we tracked down the correct code) was great for the kiddos. The chalet was cozy and the views out the living room window are incredible.
