Overview
Located by the ski lifts of Les Contamines Montjoie, Chalet-Hôtel La Chemenaz, The Originals Relais (Hotel-Chalet de Tradition) offers cosy bedrooms with spectacular views. This chalet-styled hotel features a sauna, hot tub and heated swimming pool. All the bedrooms have warm wooden furnishings, a balcony and ensuite facilities. There is satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access. The "La Trabla" restaurant is located around a fireplace, inviting you to taste a range of local dishes meals such as raclette. Chalet-Hôtel La Chemenaz is also near the swimming lake of the Pontet and cross country ski slopes. There are plenty of sport activities in the area including horse-riding and hiking. A free shuttle bus is available to the centre of Les Contamines Montjoie. Shuttle buses to other towns are also available, with an extra cost. The spa (sauna + jacuzzi) is available on reservation, the restaurant is also available on reservation or snacking from 10am to 10pm at the bar.

“Thoroughly enjoyable!”
We got the Chef’s inspiration for dinner and chose not to know what it was. We received the best 4 course meal I’ve ever had in my life! We had just hiked from Chamonix and it was well worth the hike for the food alone. When we arrived we were able to book in to have the sauna and jacuzzi to ourselves which was very much welcome after a long day walking. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be back!

“Good hotel to stay for a weekend ski in Contamines”
Good location, easy checkin/checkout, room was OK, although would be even better if it was possible to install se doors to the bedroom. Hotel itself doesn't have a parking for guests, but P4 is just 100m away, so not a big deal. There is a bar and a restaurant, so if you want, you don't need to walk anywhere for the evening.
