The property was spacious and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We would love to visit again.

“Not worth the money”

The staff were very friendly, and the location was great. There are three restaurants nearby, and we woke up to the sound of birds in a lovely green setting. The staff also kindly offered us coffee in the morning, even though we hadn’t asked for it.

If you love going on pleasant hikes, the hotel is in the best location surrounded by easy, beautiful and quiet trails. The room we got was very spacious and clean and the beds were huge. Each bedroom came with their own smart TV. Everything was very comfortable and I am quite sure our dog also enjoyed it very much. The hearty breakfast was very worth the money!

The hostess was warm, so warm I felt compelled to hug her. We had a beautiful apartment and while the stairs were a little bit, tough on my husband for a moment the Wheelchair access once he was in the room was phenomenal. The beds were super comfortable and sober the pillows, very important! Breakfast was delicious, so much food and so much attention to detail everything fresh and crisp. Parking was free and easy and in the morning we had an amazing walk in the forest.

“Lovely hotel that offers fairly high end experience in a lovely rural location.”

This place is old fashioned and beautiful. It's in a rural and quiet location. Parking was easy. It was winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the garden, but for warmer seasons, this could be a lovely bonus - it's beautiful and well looked after. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Although we arrived late, the host was able to wait for us and even called to check all is ok. Bathroom was big, comfortable, everything worked well, there were good towels, nice lemongrass soap and shampoo, nice coffee and biscuits in the room, etc. We were able to order breakfast last minute and it was available. They also were lovely in catering for our requests (vegetarian and kids only eating cereal) - it was considerate and lovely.

“Hotel was overbooked and our reservation booked weeks before was cancelled last minute.”

This hotel had been booked as a birthday gift for my daughter. She wanted a quiet night with her book and a long peaceful bath, with a hotel in a nice setting. This is what we had booked. Sadly, and weeks after booking we were called on the day itself to say the hotel was over booked and the room requested wasn't available. The solution was to arrange accommodation in a local B&B. As it was last minute we had no choice but to accept under the insurance the B&B was lovely and comparable to what we booked for my daughter. It wasn't. It was a room with 2 single beds set apart and a shower and toilet down the corridor out of the room. The hosts there were lovely and welcoming, a good breakfast but my daughter wanted a hotel experience and instead it was far from it. We were all left disappointed for her. If this hotel offer you a similar option think twice before accepting. As my daughter summed up the B&B like spending a night at her grandparents.
