The hotel style was so interesting to look at. The rooms had an old fashioned look which I don't normally like as the furniture can be tac but it wasn't the case here. The room was on the small side and had no where to sit apart from the bed so we went into one of the lounge areas downstairs which we enjoyed. The room was very well maintained and clean as was the hotel itself. It was great to wonder around the hotel discovering the smaller areas where you could relax. All the staff we met were friendly, professional and very welcoming especially those on reception. We enjoyed the breakfast and had dinner one night which we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to stay here again.

“Una chicca in una cittadina meravigliosa”
The room isn't too big but very comfortable, gorgeus bathroomand walk in shower. Everything is new. No hairdryer, but reception was very kind and brought one to my room in 5 minutes. Good breakfast

Luxurious renovation of old post office into hotel. Extra large deluxe room and huge bathroom were appreciated. The decor in the rooms and hotel created a great mood and matched the feelings of the previous use of the building.

Whenever I visit Leeuwarden, I always choose to stay at this hotel. The location is ideal, it’s always spotless, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly, and I always get a good night's sleep here.

“Beautiful hotel, great staff and a warm welcome”
A beautiful building, the old post office, which has been turned into a gorgeous hotel. The Grand Cafe is a great place for a drink, dinner and breakfast. The hotel staff are very welcoming and its minutes from the old town and canalside bars and restaurants.

Outstanding refurbishment and repurposing of the old post office and bank in Leuwarden. Excellent rooms, spotlessly clean, fabulous restaurant, excellent service and really warm and friendly staff. A truly distinctive hotel - so rare these days - just excellent.
