“Everything we expected”
Excellent period château in its own estate that retains all it's character and yet provides excellent facilities. Warm welcome and perfect level of care. We were there in February and felt warm and snug. Would definitely return.

Beauitful old chateau , quirky and is def not for people who like brand new hotels. This is full of character, the host was very helpful and opened the pool for us even though they had closed it for winter. The temperature was perfect. The village nearby isn't really great so it was difficult to find somewhere to eat on a Monday evening. A fine breakfast in the original smoking salon of the chateau which was lovely. Overall a really interesting overnight stay in a one of a kind chateau.

“Fabulous!”
We loved the Chateau, it was so beautiful and full of character. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Breakfast was delicious and Arnaud was really helpful and made a real effort to chat to us despite the language barrier. The pool area was lovely and set in a beautiful walled garden.

The serene nature of the chateau...to be so close to Renne yet miles away. To be invited in to see nothing was a problem....lovely grounds with golf course. I feel I would go back tomorrow.

“Definitely worth a visit for a feel of a historic chateau.”
If you want the full fat time travel experience this is the place for you. You really believe you are in a chateau in 1900. Brilliant. The owner was awesome. He said his English wasn’t great, but he was superb. Really sincere. Breakfast was amazing. Had a fun time.

“Unique stay and interesting history”
When you book a room in a chateau such as this, you are probably looking for something out of the ordinary. That's exactly what you will get! The breakfast and breakfast dining room is really amazing. The bedrooms are also very unique and original. The chateau has been in the family for many generations. Not sure how it all survived the French Revolution, but it did.

“Authentic and charming”
The Chateau retains much in its original state such as the creaky old stairs leading up to the second floor where we stayed that qualified it with a very authentic feel. The large room was very comfortable and was renovated in a fashion that did not detract from its history with fine views over the beautiful countryside. The breakfast was held in what could almost pass as a museum. Fresh croissants, pastry, and bread straight from the boulangerie. The staff who were very welcoming and attentive do not speak any English, but that gave us a good opportunity to practice our French. Note that the Chateau is sited 300 metres beyond the Golf club to which Google maps may direct you.
