This is a lovely old hotel that has retained some of its past splendour but is obviously fraying at the edges. The rooms are basic and quite small and cheaply furnished but very comfortable Breakfast is wonderful and certainly worth having with a great choice and would go as far to say it is one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time and worth just staying at the hotel for the breakfast Good close secure parking.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Mont Dore. Great base for walking, eating and seeing the local area. Hotel staff were kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the character of this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
