“A hidden gem with the best of hosts”

Hubert and Fatih are excellent hosts and instantly made us feel at home with a warm welcome, a cold drink and a friendly chat. The rooms (our own room and the communal room) are decorated beautifully- it is clear that the hosts paid a lot of attention to detail. The garden is a hidden gem with a beautiful, well maintained pool, and many lovely places to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the garden. The breakfast was delicious with many croissants, pain au chocolates, breads, cheeses, charcuterie and of course the homemade jams. Thank you for making our stay, for both of us and the children, a wonderful one! We would love to return!

Tucked away on quiet streets of Le Lonzac, Les Jardins Saint-Eloi is such a great choice when looking for THE best maison d'hôtes in this area (between Corrèze and Dordogne, at the door of the Perigord). The property is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It is stunning, immaculately furnished to a high standard. As you step through the doors, you’re greeted by a lush oasis of tranquility that immediately washes away the stresses of everyday life. From here, we explored the surrounding areas. Hubert gave us inside knowledge on the best places to visit. And did we mention that the breakfast with Hubert's homemade confiture was spectacular..??!! Hubert and Fatih made us feel exceptionally welcome and at home. We felt like VIPs! The inviting ambiance and charming atmosphere make it the perfect retreat for travelers seeking relaxation. If peace, beautiful surroundings and exceptional hospitality are what you seek, do not look any further and make sure to look up Les Jardins Saint-Eloi. It is a special place with lovely hosts that made our trip unforgettable and absolutely what was needed after a hot, exciting and tiring week at the Olympic Games in Paris (2024).

Where to start? let's do it with the owners Fati and Hubert: I didn't expect it from the B&B website but Hubert and Fati make you feel immediately at home. We had some delays and arrived much later than expected. They were just waiting for us offering some drinks and helping us unloading the car. If you have small kids you don't have to worry. They will be more than welcome but make sure they don't brake anything. Luckily ours didn't. They truly are lovely and kind people. The house: This is a luxury B&B. Luxury is about detail. You can feel that it has been given lots of thoughts in the way the rooms but also the house have been designed. We had the 2 rooms on the 1st floor for us and our small kids (3 and 5). Especially our room (Malmaison) was really spacious and comfortable. I like to compare to hotels as it gives a reference. Les jardins Saint Eloi can compete with the best Ritz Carlton, Roomers etc. Definitely 5 stars. Breakfast: It's all about local products especially chosen by Hubert. Lovely ham and cheese with the usual French pastries and jam. Orange juice was also excellent which is not always the case. One thing I didn't think asking for was scrambled eggs or an omelet. So I don't know if it's an option Finally garden/location: both are really quiet and relaxing. You can still see the milky way from the garden and quietness was what we were looking for Conclusion: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)

“A Starlit Stay with Exceptional Hosts at Les Jardins Saint Eloi”

Recommended without hesitation. My wife and I had a marvellous time - Hubert and Fatih are such welcoming, delightful hosts! They have created a remarkably cosy, charming space in Les Jardins Saint Eloi. Which acts as an ideal base for all sorts of activities, including mulitple nearby hikes, water sports, and spectacular stargazing from a readily accessible peak a short drive away. Breakfasts with Hubert's homemade confitures were a treat, and the dinner d'hôtes they hosted was delicious, too. These thoughtfully prepared dinners are understandably not available everyday. So it's worth making some restaurant bookings during your stay. Hubert and Fatih have great tips. And they go the extra mile - even literally in our case - like when Hubert helped us out after a flat tyre cycling back one day. Total Tour de France SOS moment! All in all, a rare gem. We're grateful for the experience ☺

The best B&B we’ve stayed in! Great breakfast and a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. It was all very well kept, with our rooms being cleaned every day and drinks and toiletries being replenished. Highly recommended, tres Bon!
